This is probably the best, worst loss in a long time.  It sucked to see them lose, but on the fourth game of a road trip, Denver had everything pretty much go right for them and we had quite a few things go wrong.

I was, however, very happy to see that KG's legs are getting better.  He may not ever be what he was, but tonight made it pretty clear too that he won't be as bad as he was the past month or two either.

I wasn't happy how Rondo played tonight.  He had some good moments, but Billups should never be getting past him.  Also, while Billups can post Rondo, Rondo should be BLOWING by him every time down the court.  I'm sick and tired of Denver using the point guard spot to their "advantage," when Rondo should be making Billups a defensive liability out there.

Man that game was frustrating.

Work it all the way back to basically lose big again.

Shouldn't be surprised when you can't hit jack from 3, Pierce is obviously not healthy, and JR Smith had a "good JR" game and not the "crappy JR" game.  Once he's on, it's practically impossible to turn him off.

It's a shame cause we wasted a pretty dominant performance from KG.  I haven't seen him look that good in awhile.

Oh and Rasheed needs to take one day and only practice shooting 3s.  The majority, if not all of them, were pretty much wide open and he missed all of them.  Absolutely killed us.

Yeah he was a difference maker in the game to say the least.

  • You say when......
The PP thing,,,,knee drainage itself is soooo serious.....so many bad things contribute to knee draining.....water on the knee is full of all bad stuff, swelling...you need major time off to heal, you can't play BBall continuosly...bball is tough on the knee ankles legs..!

Oh, and we finally score over 100 points only to lose! One of these days we will have a good offensive and defensive game.

(although that Portland game was obviously an example of that)

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Brutal 1st Quarter but they stayed in the game.  Tough stretch in the third right after they tied it where the C's missed some layups, Melo went to the line on a series of touch fouls, and Perk went out with his fifth.

This is the kind of loss I truly hoped we'd put in the past. Shooting ourselves in the foot in the 1st quarter then trying hard but failing to dig ourselves out of the hole. If we played the 1st quarter like we did the rest we'd have been in a good position to win.

i wouldn't put too much into this loss...they were playing their 3rd game in 4 days...vs the second best team in the west after denver lost to the wiz..plus you figure in the karl thing back at home...

i am very encourage today with Ray, Daniels, baby and KG....rondo and PP didn't play well today. but this isnt a big deal.

if you would have told me after this road trip, boston would go 3-1 (one win vs the lakers) and come home a game/1.5 out of second place in the east...i would have told you that is just what the doctor ordered....

and we did all of this with a VERY short bench (no eddie or nate yet)

There's nobody in the NBA who can guard Smith when he gets hot. The guy can pretty much pull up from half court when he gets going. Hats off to them. No stopping that.

Agreed, Rondo was very bad defensively in the 2nd half.  He wasn't getting down in a good stance and he was moving sluggishly.  It seemed like the mile high air was getting to him.

pierce's thumb is the main issue. you could tell on those FTs late in the game. i just hope it isn't bad ala daniels...but by his play and his lack of shooting touch and grip...it is pretty serious

I don't care if we lost this one by 50 because KG showed me that he still has enough gas left in the tank to keep us as contenders.

And I wonder if Pierce's issue is now the thumb and has little to do with the knee. His shot looks way off, but I have seen him make some explosive plays. Either way, a rest wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Rondo wasn't aggressive today and was avoiding contact. Perhaps he has a bruised rib or something from running into that pick during the Blazers game.

I think they said it was his thumb on the telecast but I'm not completely sure.

The Nuggets are an elite team in the West, I really hope that they'd come out on top of the Western Conference, I like their chances against the Fakers.

We lost but im not as much deflated coz we ain't complete as yet coz Nate Robinson ain't around and ofcourse PP is playing like he is the oldest of the big 3.. heck PP is playing like he is in superslowmo mode, missed crucial FT, should really take some time off and rest that hand of his.
