I just realized I wouldn't mind if Ray pulled up and shot from 30 feet out.

I wouldn't of minded them setting Ray up more often this game.

JR Smith is wide open... and killing us.

But I would like to understand how we can have shot only 20 free throws to 32 when we've scored 60 points in the paint to Denver's 48?

Two words : Joey Crawford.

Pierce absolutely should not be playing. 1-10 and 2 points for the game. They guy is clearly hurt, but I guess no one has the ability to tell him to sit.

Absolutely nothing has gone our way this game.

Except, you know, coming back from 20 down to tie it against one of the strongest teams we have faced all year. On the road.

Sit him out for as long as he needs to get healthy.  Thursday is not a statement game.

I'd rather have him get healthy down the stretch headed towards the playoffs.  If that comes at the sacrifice of Thursday night, so be it.

Would have been nice to get the W specially with the cavs losing today. Makes you wonder if Nate would have made a difference had he played today. This is when we need him, when Rondo's having a poor game, and with PP having a horrendous offensive night.

Yup, I was gonna say the second quarter was a pretty good one.

Agreed -- they came back from 20 to tie it and they are going to end up losing by 20. Not criticizing the C's cos they had a great road trip, but coming back from 20 means nothing if you lose by 20.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Celts are 1-12 from three and 11-20 from the line.

Nugs - 8/18 and 19/32.

Getting my hopes up and watching them melt down the stretch is too painful.
Losing is one thing but it is unacceptable to get blown out in Denver when we're trying to get some momentum going. The ease with which they've built double digit leads multiple times in this game has been demoralizing.

I don't feel like quoting 1 of the 20 people talking about Big Baby right now... so I'm just going to throw my opinion out there.

He was good in the Orlando series last year and while he was filling in for KG at the end of the regular season. He was good because he was getting wide open jumpers because his jumper wasn't in team's scouting reports. He was also in the best shape of his NBA career.

Now, he has put his weight back on. He gets blocked on 25% of his shots. All this, after he just signed a contract. He is essentially Mark Blount. I dislike him very much. If he had any work ethic at all he would get back in shape. He's a bum.

Not a bum...but doesn't seem to be aware of his limitations.  Needs to do like Big Ben, get a hustle rebound, then pass the ball to an offensive player.

He will never do that because he is selfish, which makes him a bum.

Not sure about that...maybe he just doesn't "get" that he can't jump/has short arms/no NBA post game?...just thinks he can do more than he can?  I mean, I suppose a player that's 6-9 might expect that he could score from 18 inches out, but BBD can't score in traffic under the hoop.  The wide-open 12 footer is his shot, for whatever good that is.

Wonder why he wasn't much of a trade asset....

this will be one of the easier losses to take this season
