I like this deal. I think House is underrated; however, I feel like our second unit (and to an extent even the Big Three as they age) relied too much on set plays designed to get people like House, Rasheed, or even BBD open jumpers. The problem was, when the plays broke down, too often people were hoisting bad shots. Even when they didn't break down, too much of the offense was based around jumpers.
Nate helps with that. He's not a world changer. However, he can bring the ball up the court better than House can. He's not a bad three point shooter. And if Daniels runs the offense at least some of the time in the half court, he could be dangerous penetrating from the wings. He'll also be a nice option with 10 seconds left on the shot clock to penetrate to the basket and create his own shot if nothing else is working.
