Knicks and Celtics have reached tentative agreement on Nate Robinson deal. Unknown 2nd player to Bos, NY gets E.House, B.Walker, JRGiddens.

So Billy is also fair game.

Ugh... it's not that Billy and JR's value were high but it's a little harsh to lose 3 expiring contracts just to land Nate!

And UNKNOWN, learn to read!!! Lol. Any guesses?

I'm really hoping for Martin or Battier now but idk how likely that is.

If Walker is being included (ugh, why? throw in Shelden and the trade works), it can't be a big contract player, but more likely a minimum level deal.

ChrisMannixSI    Allen likely to stay in Boston, execs say. Celtics still expected to complete deal for Nate Robinson (House, Giddens).

---Hopefully, something else involving Baby and/or Scal's contact is in works!

Can we try to keep all these discussions in one thread?

If we are giving up house, walker, and giddens, we must be getting a guard/forward as the unknown, otherwise we are even more thin at that spot than we were prior.

I skipped on the "unknown player" because I think it will just be a filler like Marcus Landry.

I would be ecstatic if it was Battier but it can't be him if Billy and JR are involved since Boston wouldn't be sending out enough salary to receive Battier's.

The most realistic scenario is that we get Nate from NY and Ime Udoka from Sacto.

I really thought Bill Walker was going to be a steal of a draft pick when we got him a couple of years ago.

I think you're right. Landry, if a simple 2-team with NY, Udoka, if a 3-team with Sacto.

Me too, he never panned out.

Oh well it happens.

I'd be happy if it ends up being Udoka. More useful than Walker/Giddens.
