OK, I'm done with the attempt of the up-to-the-minute game here. Being corrected on info regarding House/2nd Rounder. Stay tuned.

Much respect at Y! for @Alanhahn, and know that he's assuredly ahead of us all on Nate Robinson deal. No confirmations here yet, though.

This is the problem with "tweeting"; it's not held up to the same standard as journalism in terms of vetting of sources.

(Of course, journalism hasn't been so great itself in recent years.)

Nate Robinson is going to bring a swagger to the second unit. He's gonna bring swagger to a team that looks like it was neutered the day after Christmas. I say bring on the tude. Last night I was just absolutely praying Garnett, or Pierce, or Allen would show some spine and freak out, jsut bring some energy. I my prayers went unanswered.
good point, i've been waiting all year and the closest thing we've gotten was rondo's comments

Apparently he says he will be on WEEI, but won't go on until he has more info.

How would Kirk help us and much more then ray? I would rather have Ray's shooting rather then Kirk pretty good D.

Well, if you get Thomas in the deal, it adds another dynamic to this team and the potential to fill one of our weaknesses.

I personally think Ty Thomas is fool's gold; a lot of teams will drool over his potential, but I don't think he'll ever amount to much.

I don't want to trade Ray for a backup PG and a third-string PF.

I agree its a risk and I'm not exactly enamored with that particular deal.

However if we're moving Ray, we're getting a serviceable talent/bad contract + expendable talent in return.  Its really a measure of how much bad contract we're taking on and their ability to contribute and the remaining talent being acquired and whether they're worth the gamble.  With 24 hours remaining, its something we have to accept if we are to move Ray.

We could keep him but even that runs a risk.

IMO, solid deal. Big upgrade for the bench. I hope there's more to come.

How do you know without knowing the details? Ill hold judgement until I see that we didnt include a pick or TA.

Let's start over. Source says Nate-to-Celtics is "close" but no specifics yet can be confirmed. Everyone gets a free punch to my #P90X abs.

Crap rollercoaster.

Wow

Talk about the quick backpeddling.  Like opposing PGs trying defend Rondo baseline to baseline.

Epic fail.

Alan Hahn has officially just become the internet version of Sam Smith/Peter Vescey.
