Adrian Woj just said it's not done yet.

He is only saying that because he was beat to the punch by Alan Hahn...

WojYahooNBA:
Knicks and Celtics still talking on Nate Robinson-Eddie House, three sources say, but may not be a deal until tomorrow.

Should someone tell him that the deal is done? Or is the deal actually not done?

IMO, solid deal. Big upgrade for the bench. I hope there's more to come.

How do you know without knowing the details? Ill hold judgement until I see that we didnt include a pick or TA.

Gun to my head, I trust Wojo more than Hahn.

Haha, I can just see these guys cursing out the other one with every leak at their computer with their bluetooth headset on. Like "[dang] you, hahn! he always gets me"

So is it the assumption this isnt for Ray? But something involving Eddie?

Of course this isn't for Ray...

I still think and hope that this is part of a bigger deal with Ray going somewhere else? Right it must be?

How is nate a big upgrade over House, I just don't see it

Better ball handler, and scorer. Probably better defender (at least I hope). Upgrade over house but not a major upgrade to the team.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
If Danny gave up a first rounder it wasn't worth it.

Agreed, but Hahn, as a NY writer, might be closer to the inside of the Knicks organization than Woj.

If this is all there is

I DON"T GET IT!!!

Sorry folks, makes no sense

This team needs an adjustment in the starting lineup by trading Ray
This team needs a real rebounding big off the bench that can play defense
This team needs a defensive minded 3/4 to spell Pierce
This team needs a defensive minded PG that can run an offense and distribute the ball

Nate is about as far from any of nthese things as one can get

I just don't get it

Though we'll see what the details are

If they get Wilson Chandler too, then okay otherwise, bad move in my mind

BTW, I don't expect them to get Wilson Chandler
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

House is one-dimensional. I'm ok with Nate.

Oy a Nate for Eddie trade is not what I was hoping for when I logged in. I thought Doc said we needed length off the bench this season or did that not apply to the backcourt?

Maybe he'll help us win some regular season games but I'm not sure how much more useful than Eddie he'll be in the playoffs. The bench is the least of our worries right now. And isn't he a FA this summer?  Sigh I guess that's why I'm a lowly fan and not the GM.
