If this is all there is

I DON"T GET IT!!!

Sorry folks, makes no sense

This team needs an adjustment in the starting lineup by trading Ray
This team needs a real rebounding big off the bench that can play defense
This team needs a defensive minded 3/4 to spell Pierce
This team needs a defensive minded PG that can run an offense and distribute the ball

Nate is about as far from any of nthese things as one can get

I just don't get it

Though we'll see what the details are

If they get Wilson Chandler too, then okay otherwise, bad move in my mind

BTW, I don't expect them to get Wilson Chandler

Co-sign.

House is one-dimensional. I'm ok with Nate.
yes his 1 dimension makes him very expendable, hoping danny is moving scal & ta (giddens!) for other needs

So I guess Nate R is a Celt?

Surprised I am not seeing this here (probably a good reason).  Anyway, I am NOW hoping TA isn't involved (though it seems likley that he is).  Don't mind the move if it is House for Robinson.

I don't see where this trade alone helps us get past Cleveland or Orlando or Atlanta

Toronto, yeah but those other teams, nope

We'll need more than this and this all but rules out the addition of Hinrich for just expiring contracts

Ray for Hinrich not so great but Hinrich added to this team would have been world's better than this move
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

How would Kirk help us and much more then ray? I would rather have Ray's shooting rather then Kirk pretty good D.

If you don't like Nate give him a chance on this team before you kill this trade. Unless we gave up a first, then you can kill the trade right away.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think having a player on the second unit who is a "microwave" type of player is potentially useful.  I don't, however, like Nate Robinson very much; the guy is a punk.  Still, if he keeps his attitude in check, I think he can help.

I'm not in love with the idea of giving up House plus a pick, though.  I'm anxious to see what the details turn out to be.

Well, if you get Thomas in the deal, it adds another dynamic to this team and the potential to fill one of our weaknesses.

I think this trade adds something that has been lacking for 6 weeks...ENERGY!!!!!!

I am fine going to battle in the playoffs with a healthy Big Three!!!!

if this is the only move, for me is a delusion.
Next year, with Ray we can't do a sign and trade,so no good starters can arrive here.
And anyway...
we always put out picks.
We'r old, we need some new fresh guys.

From Alan's twitter:

Nate trade not "official" but done - and @WojYahooNBA says may not finalize until tomorrow - but sounds like it is House/2nd Rnd pick.

Good news that we didn't give up a 1st, if true.

I personally think Ty Thomas is fool's gold; a lot of teams will drool over his potential, but I don't think he'll ever amount to much.

I don't want to trade Ray for a backup PG and a third-string PF.

if this is just eddie for nate then i don't see how it is a bad deal.  it improves that roster position.  nate is a better back up pg than eddie, end of story.

it does not take care of all the roster upgrades we need (defensive wing, rebounding big), it takes care of one. we have roughly 24 to figure out the other aspects.

if this is the only move danny improved the roster, but he didn't improve it enough.  but alone i can't understand how this would be a bad move.  it isn't like Eddie is a very valuable chip and in trading him we loose out on someone that could have improved the roster more.
