"Multiple league sources?"

Hells yea! Celtic Thug, where you been buddy?

I bet the deli guy is on this, too.. As well as Peter Vescey.

But in all seriousness, yea.. I'd be pretty happy.

I have a question for all the basketball experts here :). How soon do think the trade will happen if it does? It is it a matter of weeks or days? And is there a deadline in which a trade has to be made before?

If it's set to go down, tomorrow morning is probably the latest we have to do this particular trade, imo.

At least the Celtics will be somewhat more interesting to watch if this trade goes down....

Does it honestly matter? Have you seen KG? We go as far as he takes us unless we get Jamison or Stat and that doesn't look like it will be very far. This sucks! It's so unfair that KG had to get hurt and he's nothing but a shadow of the old KG.

That's life.  We got one championship out of those knees, so we can't really complain.  It is a shame that we couldn't get a couple more years of championship contention out of them though.

Nate could be useful, but is not enough.
We need more, we need a starting guard for next year, possibly young and talented, since Ray is becoming old, and if he resign I hope will be in a 6man role.

Well at least we'll have a shot at getting some highlight reel dunks on Sportscenter!

I wonder what they want, since Nate's deal is already expiring?  Less money this year doesn't seem like enough, since they don't have their own pick and still need to keep cheeks in the seats at MSG.  I'm guessing we'll be asked to toss in a pick, even a 2nd rounder, to get it done.

And I say yes.

He wouldn't solve all the problems, but definitely would provide some spark that could light up some other guys, too.

We don't have much to lose, folks...

I guess it would make sense to swap Eddie House, Scalabrine, or Tony Allen, or two of the mentioned three, for Nate. He is a good player - albeit, very emotional.

I would be interested to see if he could fulfill the role that has made Jamal Crawford an instant hit in Atlanta. Just a guy who gives you instant offense off the bench. He doesn't have to be the most efficient scorer with the best shot selection.

I'll be honest. I am not satisfied even if this trade goes through. The Celtics need rebounding off the bench. Who will it come from? This is where the Jamison talks come into play. As a consolation prize, Troy Murphy isn't too bad either. But something has to give. The Celtics played an ugly game tonight and almost lost to a lowly Kings team. Their best player wasn't even a starter (Rasheed).

nate is a threat--Ive been big on nate off da bench as a scorer who can go off inside and perimeter.  with sheed stickin in the post, quis doin his thing, and nate in the mix---da bench is looking sick--that being said, I dont think we  win a championship with that move alone....

How does this trade make sense for us in the long run. I mean, Nate is definitely a player we would want to have on our team, but the catch is we can't re-sign him next year without using the MLE. Is this correct, Roy Hobbs?

This might actually be a bigger trade then just Nate! Gallinari and some other pieces may be included for Ray Allen! but if its just Nate id take it anyways

and ive heard a couple of you mention how weak weve been and Nate won't make a difference! do u guys realize why the Hawks are good this year? cause they have a 6th man! a good 6th man! and the C's dont have that! If KG is gonna average 15/9 and Pierce averages 18ppg and Ray averages 16ppg then this is a championship caliber team if the next guy coming off the bench averaging 14ppg!

The problem with the C's now is Wallace is not posting up! if he does that consistantly this team is tough to beat! specially when Davis gets his shooting touch back however i do think we need another big SG! to at least play behind Ray! so lets hope DA does something about that!
