Eddie's problem isn't taking bad shots - it's making shots.  Specifically that he's not making enough of them to justify the fact that he can't do anything else.  His D is worse than Ray's.

Eddie's problems are every part of his game besides shooting. He is a marginal defensive player (although he tries hard), can't dribble, can't create his own shot or finish close to the hoop.

Nate can shoot, play good defense (when he tries), dribble drive, pass and finish at the rim. He even will block a shot every now and then (remember when he blocked Yao?).

To someone's previous post, the Knicks will not be tanking this year because they don't have their own pick in the draft.

Is Landry the brother of the Landry on Houston? At this point if we have to take him as part of the trade we should cut him and wait until the buyout people come free.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

  • You know my methods, Watson.
losing a piece of our bench like eddie house  for nate robinson sounds wack as hell.

what did eddie do do warrant a trade? his shooting helps the celtics and always gives good efforts, and sits patiently sometimes when he doesn't get in.

im not for this move.

eddie house is not a pure point guard and obviously can't run an offense.  it worked well during the championship run, but this season is different and they need a true QB for the second team.

nobody is saying eddie is a bad guy or a terrible player.  but nate would be a valuable player off the bench, not only because of his offensive skills, but his ability to create for other teammates.

and as much as danny has loved the idea of marquis (or even tony allen - yikes!!) playing the backup point guard, it's not working.

i like eddie house...but i love the idea of nate even more...

I believe it, the Lakers have expiring contracts and problems with quicker guards. Nate could potentially start for them in the triangle offense.

While I'd rather not give up the 1st rounder I'd reluctantly do it to grab Nate.

if we are trading a #1...we need to look into keeping nate around for 2-3 more seasons.

I think Nate will be a Jamal Crawford type plaer off the bencg and wouldn't mind giving him an MLE type deal(depending on how he plays) Plus he would be a decent trading chip if we ever decided to move Perk around draft night to get into the lottery.

Does any of the CBA buffs out there know whether we will have Bird rights on Nate, if he gets traded to the Cs?

Yes.

That's incorrect.  Nate Robinson is on a one year deal, so if he gets traded his bird rights will be lost.

I am pretty sure he loses his bird right in any trade because he was only on a 1 year deal ,  but he would likely only command an MLE type deal next summer, I don't see any team giving him more than the MLE.
