The new LA Pigs.

PG  Foye
SG  Kobe
SF  Turk
PF  Gasol
C   Gortat

Bench

SG/PG  Redick  (He works as a PG in the Triangle offense much like a Ron Harper.  Kobe and Turk are the true PGs)

Offensively, the team is strong.  The next couple of roll players need to bring the defense.

No one wants to comment?

I think Foye is an obvious upgrade over Fisher, but is he even that much better than Farmar?

Gortat...how does he compare to Bynum?

Huge Turkoglu fan, but how much better than Artest? Different skillset, but a better match, if you factor in Artest's defense?

Any team with Kobe and Gasol surrounded by decent talent is a contender, but is it better than the current Lakers?

Oh no.  Like I said, there was no way to make up for the lose of Bynum.

I think Turk's fit in the triangle makes him a better fit then Artest.

Harris
Sefelosha
Casspi
Lee
Lopez

[ . . . stuff . . . ]

The next two picks are going to matter a lot for me.

Well, duh.

All kidding aside, I do like the foundation. Drafting a scoring wing has got to be a priority, I imagine. Perhaps a stretch 4? And I think a durable, experienced PG would be a good backup to Harris. He strikes me as maybe a little fragile (perhaps too strong a word), both physically and mentally.

I can't say anything good about this franchise, other than their new name. ;)

I will say, though, that Turk would thrive there.

It's very good. I just don't like Randy Foye.

Why not?  As a starter, he has been averaging 14.4 pts, 4.4 assists, while shooting 45% from the field and 36% from downtown.

And on the Pigs, he doesn't have to worry about running the offense.  Kobe will.

Streaky scorer, poor defender who isn't quite a point and isn't quite a 2.

I think in this exercise you are going to find that the teams that are best in real life, probably aren't going to be better and that the teams that are not so good in real life are going to be a lot better in this game

So I would expect the Lakers, Celtics, Cavs, Hawks, Magic to be worse than in real life, and sorry guys, I think they all are

I would also expect that the bad teams, basically any lottery team should be better and for the most part, they are

Everyone else it's a crap shoot based on how good the GM is
Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

I'd take the fake Magic over the real team.  I like what Edgar has done there.

Yeah, maybe but the current Magic's strength is in their depth

Will Edgar be able to duplicate that

And at this point I doubt

I like Reddick over Dunleavy currently and Nelson is a leader on that team and gives them as much if not more than Miller could

Also, Pietrus, Barnes, Anderson, Gortat and Williams are all great role players that play their roles very well

He might make them better than the real team

Exceptions to this quick observation can happen, I mean the Warriors are probably worse than real life.

There will always be exceptions

Last year nelson...maybe this years not that much
My starting 5 is waaay better than orlandos and with top teams getting worst and bad teams not improving that much I think theres room for crotor..ups...magic to prevail after all

In the exersise player

ORlando = A very expensive team
who cares..We want to win it all.
:)
jj redick is not worthy of tying Mike Dunleavy shoes.
Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012

Nice to be back!

Nah, i think i just have a very low salary compared to most.  I have 3 players in their rookie deals, which is why i dont mind having one of the most expensine bench players in okafor.
