This thread is so others can critique your team, it's needs and whether or not people think it's better than before the draft.

I'll start:

1. Derrick Rose
2. Nicolas Batum
3. Danillo Gallinari
4. Emeka Okafor
5. Joakim Noah.

I think a better low post presence on the offensive end make your team better inside and out. Not sure you can expect Batum to log starter minutes just yet. I'd place your team around 25 wins as presently constituted. It's a future playoff team for sure though.

We're setting ourselves up for the free agent bonanza this summe.  ;)

Do we mean our team vs the real NBA team?

Pistons

Stuckey
Bargnni
Camby
Terry
Felton

I think they'd give the Pistons a game.

I realize it's incomplete but I think this club needs a trade for a legit SF that can defend in the post and allow Bargnani to cover the perimeter.

Real Pistons win by 6.

Scrappy potential low playoff team or wosre, you decide?

cats:

PG: conley
SG: jackson
SF: wallace
PF: murphy
C: haywood

I like this club as a 5th or 6th seed playoff team. Solid starting five, I'd look for a veteran PG to backup Conley who is very up and down as a starting PG.

Real Bobcats lose by 9

Well, let's consider:

Conley < Felton (Felton is a lot better in my opinion)
Jackson = Jackson
Wallace = Wallace
Murphy < Diaw (in my opinion; I'd rather have Diaw on defense and he's more versatile, though not as good a rebounder)
Haywood > Chandler (not a huge difference but Haywood is significantly better)

I'd say at best the teams are roughly the same; I'm inclined to say the current Bobcats are better, although if you get a solid bench your team may very well come out on top, since the real-life Bobcats have a crappy bench.

Not sure I follow. Hinrich, Gordon, and Prince all have range to the 3 pt line. All three are having a down year this year, but career-wise, they've shot 38%, 40%, and 37% respectively.

I can see knocking Gordon's ability to defend, but Hinrich and Prince are also well above average defenders.

This team is a title contender despite lacking a primary scorer. Who's going to take the ball off the dribble and go to the hoop on a consistent basis?

Well Shard seems to fit the job pretty well
against KG ;)

well as Who says there are still some work to championship
but he and I think pretty alike in how to
develop a bench.

It's tough for me to read on this team but I think an 8th or 9th seed is a reasonable expectation as of now. I love Durant, and I like Charlie V. coming off the bench as a guy that can play multiple positions efficiently and as a good perimeter defender he could even start at the 3. Will Oden ever be able to stay on the floor?

If I'm a playoff opponent I'm collapsing on the perimeter and forcing your club to go off the dribble and make something happen. However, going inside out with Bosh could counter that. I'm just going off of what comes to mind and first impression! ;D It's all subjective when it comes to these hypothetical teams right!? a slashing SG who can defend the perimeter might be a good 6th man though.

I like your team.

No worries, Jsaad. Feedback is always appreciated. Just wanted to see if there was a disconnect between what I believed and reality.

And I'll be looking for a defensive-minded wing player to back up Gordon, for sure.

Kobe
Turk

Gortat

A playoff team that has gone more the offensive route than the Lakers as presently constituted. I love Turk on this club because he becomes the Point Forward in the half court. A PG that can effectively bring up the ball and hit an open jumper makes this team deadly on offense.

Real Lakers lose by 2

Trying to kill some time on a slow day, but unless anyone wants my critique (which I'd be more than happy to give) I'm done.

Defensively soft.

Offensively, Nelson attacking looks like the only non-jumpshooting option.

You would be better off with Crawford starting so there are two guys that can attack.
