We're up by 11 on a good team at the half, and the negative comments outweigh the positive ones by a seemingly 3:1 margin. What gives? Is it residual negativity from the losing streak?
I know it wasn't a perfect half, but man, I'll take an 11 point lead on Orlando any day. It's okay to pump a *little* positivity in here, isn't it?

A lot of the "negativity" is seeing how the first half unfolded. The C's are playing pretty well but only up 11. Pierce and KG are non factors and the hot 3 point shooting will most likely fade away as it does most game. The Magic are playing terribly but getting open looks from 3 that they usually make. They are hanging around due to offensive rebounding and the normal C's turnovers.
Since this type of game that the Celtics regularly have played in the last month it's tough to think they won't give the lead back in the second half that's all it is...
You can fixate on the bad in any situation. I mean, heck, somebody could probably say something bad against Game 6 of our Finals victory; didn't LA shoot more free throws than we did?
I understand pointing out mistakes and flaws. I'd just expect a little more balance when we're up by 11 against a good team.
It's just something I don't understand about certain fans. If folks don't enjoy the games, even when we're winning, where's the joy? It's just one of those mysteries I'll never understand, I guess. I suppose, on the bright side, it did give fodder for my sig (one of the more amusing rants in recent history), so that's a good thing.
