I think until Daniels gets back, then Daniels should get more of Ray's minutes.  Doc needs to give more playing time to Tony and less of Ray, especially the times Ray is stinking up the joint.  There is no reason to play Ray big minutes when he's not playing well.  At the very least Tony will give you some defense and help get some stops. He's not a good shooter, but he can score a little.

I'm not bashing Ray, but I think less minutes for him would be good.

No.

Ray is just the better player.

No way.  Ray had a bad game last night, but he is by far the better player and needs to be on the floor.

Agreed. However Doc is running him into the ground once again because he seems unable to limit Ray's minutes. This is getting ridiculous, three years in a row now.

So I would be glad to see Doc limit Ray's minutes to keep him fresh for the playoffs. Plus, TA did contribute pretty well last night while Ray sucked badly, so why didn't Tony play more?

I know that.  I'm not talking about benching Ray or playing Tony more minutes than Ray.  I'm just saying that Ray needs to play less minutes.  Give those extra minutes to Tony.  If Ray is playing 35 minutes, maybe he should be playing 30, that's all I'm saying.

The team defense is so much better with RR,TA,PP,RW,KP. I've really been seeing Ray's defensive weakness since KG has been out.

DOC, TAKE RAY OUT WHEN HE'S NOT PLAYING WELL. Don't keep pushing and avoiding reality.

The title and post just reads as playing TA more then Ray.

One bad game? Ray Allen has been playing poorly all year long, especially on defense.

He has a terribly hard time getting open on offense. That's why he's averaging the least amount of points in his career, and he's shooting his worst percentage from the 3pt line ever.

And what about the playoffs? Ray is on the decline and fast.

Good idea.  I actually think the team would be best if Tony Allen started the game and Ray came off the bench for additional offense with the bench.  I've been saying for over a year that Ray's defense is bad, and it's getting worse.

This would also freshen him up for the playoffs.  Unfortunately Doc is usually pretty bad with rotations :(

Sorry.  It means play Ray less than he's playing now and Tony more than he's playing now.  Not playing Tony more than Ray.

How about more Marquis when he is healthy and less Ray to give his aged body some rest. That I do. TA, not so much...

Why does everyone love Daniels? TA has outplayed him thus far this year. Daniels did practically nothing while he was healthy.
