i think we all need to buckle up and prepare for some rough seas ahead starting with Dallas monday...i dont really see many gimmie games in the next 2-3 weeks....and no...i dont expect we se KG back for any of these big games...you need to beat teams like the bulls...at home...just no way around it. no matter who is there or not...boston won a playoff series with the same guys playing the same team last year...no excuses tonight
Why do we need to beat teams like the Bulls?

The team needs to play well I agree but every game isn't a must win. Without 3 of our top 9 players we're going to lose games we otherwise wouldn't.

because they are quickly losing ground to cleveland and atlanta in the east. if you are ok with a 3 or 4 seed then you are right...no game matters until april. i tend to think boston needs to beat some of these good teams to show they are on that level...and again there is no guarentee KG is going to come back 100 percent healthy

this is one game a playoff series is 7.. Last year they lost game 1 to the bulls so whats the difference.. Its one game and everybody overreacts just plain dumb

Can we give the Bulls some credit too?  They're an improving team who has won in Orlando and in Cleveland.  They've taken on the personality of Noah, which is kind of scary if they can sustain it.  They're very aggressive contesting shots and fighting for loose balls.

Apples and oranges tonight from the two times we've seen them previously.
Yup

If KG isn't healthy we aren't getting past the second round this year.

I'd like HCA in the playoffs, but its not something to get so worked up about in January when the Celtics aren't far out of first place.

I think we're likely to be the two seed to Cleveland unless they have some injuries to one of their top 4. They've been healthy all year and have taken advantage after working out of their early season issues.

Yeah, Rose/Deng/Hinrich are so much more effective in the past 10 games or so than early in the year its ridiculous.

Do you think he's gonna be healthy in April?? cuz I doubt it...

I doubt this team is ever gonna be fully healthy again! we're old and when you get injured at this age, there's really no ending in that...
I'm telling u, tonight I realized that this team has no decent chances of winning another title... it's so sad!

So who has a "decent chance" of winning a title?

The lakers, with their losses against the clippers, portland and phoenix and advantage of 2 and a half games over the celtics, even though they've played 6 more home games than the celtics?

The magic, who lost to toronto at home and 5 of 7, despite only playing 2 teams with winning records?

The hawks, who are 5-5 over the last 10 and lost to the knicks at home?

Everyone is saying its January and we shouldn't worry, but we should.. We are not healthy not one bit. I mean we need young in shape legs and quick. Eddie only shows up once every 4 games, Sheed is out, BBD is out of shape, Williams is not all that great, TA is spotty at best, Daniels can't shoot a lick, and Rondo, Ray, And Pierce are playing tons of minutes. We are running this team into the ground right now and nobody seems to be worried about it. I mean this team fully healthy might win the championship but i haven't seen this team fully healthy to show that. Perhaps thats why i am freaking out because the losing with the team unhealthy is a lot worse then seeing the team Healthy and winning but it seems right now we will never be healthy and KG's knee seems to keep acting up.  :-\

Well then don't worry about seeding, Boston isn't winning anything without KG.

I've seen a lot of posts recently that Davis has been playing terrible.  How so?  I find this ironic b/c I've been one of his biggest "haters" I guess you could say, and yet I think he's actually rebounding and doing some things well finally.  However, I've always pointed out that he is slow to rotate on defense and anyone with athleticism (95% of the nba) can get by him quickly.. even down low.  So what are you guys seeing out there?

really i see a guy with no commitment to his team and him being out of shape and cant get off his feet, cant shoot, cant make free throws, doesnt rotate, doesnt take his job seriously, and thinks his job is a big joke! other than that hes fine

Ummm..actually Glen Davis is in the best shape of his NBA Career.

No worries from this game. Yes we lost and yes I'm disappointed, but no KG, Sheed or Marquis.

Play the Bulls with KG, Sheed, and Marquis and we run them, just like we did in Boston earlier and in Chicago.

As this season moves on, it's apparent to me that the Celtics will still win Banner 18 - in June of this year. No worries from this end.

When I walk outside tomorrow, I won't see the sky falling, lol...
