As a back up he may be okay.  I'd say he gets hot on offense just as much as Eddie, except he can drive the ball too and maybe even defend a little better.
Dont get me wrong I love eddie and his ability to space the floor, but how bad could this be considering NY would take garbage for him, in the form of Giddens and Walker.

Mixed emotions about the thought of adding Robinson. I do think he's a player, but he's also selfish and boneheaded. But then again, at worst it'd be a one year rental for absolutely pennies on the dollar.

I don't know. The legit scoring punch would be nice to have, but this would mean we'd have to dump Eddie.

Oh the hell with it, tell him to be on his best behavior and bring him in.

I'd take Nate on the Celtics. Imagine a backcourt of him and Eddie off the bench. If all the Knicks want is a duo of Hudson, Scal, Giddens, T.A. and/or Walker then let's get this deal done.

In a back court of Eddie and Nate, who guards SGs?

We can build a 6'5 android type thing, seeing as the NBA has zero rules regulating how many androids/robots allowed on the court.

Eddie should probably hop on Nate's back.  Robinson's a better athlete.

I think he has the tool to become a very good player. I think with proper motivation on the right team he could become a lock down defender with his athletecism.

I would probably trade Giddens and Lester for him, or Giddens and Walker but that's about it.

I think he would be a good fit for the team next year if he was willing to sign a contract near the vet min. As far as him playing on the team this year I think he doesn't have a spot. Once Baby and Marquis come back we have a complete second team that would have no room for him.

I like the point that he has the talent and needs to motivation and leadership. He's never had a real mature vet on his team (Marbury, Harrington, ZBo) What could you expect? Rondo would have been just as dumb if he came from those surroundings. Put KG in the gym with Nate, corner in under the rim with Ray and Pierce, have Perk stare him down, and Rondo dunk on him. He could be great, and I think a draft pick plus Giddens would be worth taking on Nate
Can't stop, Rondo!

I would love Nate he is like a mini KG with the intensity that he brings to the table. I hate to say it but i think Eddie should go and we bring in Nate he could spot up and shoot like Eddie can but drive and probably Defend PG's way better. Also that means Tony stays I really think he will help this team out this year. He seems to have kinda calmed down and he could be a player like Dahtay Jones was last year for the Nuggets. Just a very good defender that we can stick on the best player they have and either A. Stop them Or B. Annoy them.

Bump

This team is in desperate need of a spark off the bench. I was against trading for Nate earlier this season, but I am all for it now. Eddie House is useless and does nothing for this team, if he was an emergency 3 pt shooter fine, but he offers nothing else. Nate can run an offense and create his own shot. Get him Danny

Bos sends : House or Ta , walker & 1st rd pick

Nyk sends: Nate

  • You know my methods, Watson.
And Donnie Walsh replies, "Uh, Danny...I just watched that Hawks game tonight.  No thanks.  But I'm kinda wondering where that Crawford kid was while he wore a Knicks jersey..."
"It was easier to know it than to explain why I know it."
