Btw, bit of a long story but here goes;
I work for a web-design company, and we work together with several companies providing content management systems. Well, the CEO of one of those companies plays basketball too, and he's a ref as well. So our squad had to play against the no.1 contender, and since we'll end dead last, it was a big loss. But that CEO guy reffed the game.
So when we had our Christmas 'party' at work, he was there too. Now, I always downplay my basketball aspirations when I'm talking to my colleagues 'cuz I sincerely don't want to come across arrogant, or as some bragging, boosting <cough>. But this guy really made me feel uncomfortable: we were talking basketball and the head of my department, our boss and the owner of the company were listening too. So, he started talking about that game and about my team... "You really are the hero of your team huh? You had to do it all by yourself and try and keep them in the game as well." He also went on a bit about how I not only shouldered the load, but also how I created for the others.
Best part, that guy hadn't even finished his first beer yet! :p
