and in reply to that earlier one; you're spot on. Jamming gets you tuned to your guitar, and it *does* become an extention of your body! I love closing my eyes and just moving and feeling the instrument :)

now if only it would produce the tunes I got in my head lol

I'll dedicate my sixth star to you, K ... with my 6K post. But seriously, that is the ultimate for me ... I love playing, performing, jamming, practicing, etc, but the thing I love to do more than anything else in this life, (well, that doesn't include my fiance' ;)), is writing songs and recording ... the creative process for me is the ultimate joy and catharsis ... I love it. And don't worry about waiting to learn a ton of chords, some of the most beautiful music in the world is made up of only 3 or 4 chords ... you're getting there, Bud.

Admittedly, I never played the guitar on stage. I definitly miss proper lessons here, since I have no certain systems I can rely and fall back on.

Seriously, in my opinion, if you only want to write songs, it´s not necessarily wrong to learn to dance before you can walk, if you know what I mean.

I feel good ish. Tired though.

Physio in a bit (the things I do to play basketball...) and then to bed. Gotta watch tonights game! Probably going to miss the Magic one due to Christmas dinner. (booo! hiss!) It's the first game I'll "miss", but I'll gladly give up my 27-0 for a 27-1 to be with my family.

Tired...  I went to bed around midnight, and was up at 2:30 writing a brief.  It's my own fault; if I'd been writing, rather than watching Monday Night Football, I could have gotten more sleep.

Also, I managed to get a pretty nasty cut on my hand while moving a filing cabinet.  How I managed that, I don't know, but it's fairly deep.  I'll just tell people that I injured myself in hand-to-hand combat; close enough.

someone stole my spot after i shoveled and went a mile to my parents to grab a cheap chair to put there. i acted like a real adult and called at the building complex for the person to reveal themselves.totally snapped. snooze ya lose i guess.then i find the person who stole my spot lives right next to me in the complex. Ya.. bit awkward now.
