Fairly even trade...although I prefer to get the better player in the deal as opposed to two good players.  But Randolph is a head case and who knows when he will decide he doesnt want to play.

Usually I would feel the same way.  Inthis case, I really needed another solid PG and offered this trade mainly for that reason as well as getting a little younger.  I'm sure Randolph will be a top fantasy producer this year, but I feel that over the next 2-3 years, he will be on the downslope.  By that time, Stuckey and Speights will be in their prime and hopefully each producing in the high 30's.  As you say, time will tell.

I think it's a great trade for MMSB. Stuckey, Speights, and a #1 is great value for Randolph. I don't see Randolph keeping it together much longer, whereas Speights and Stuckey have good futures, and Stuckey will produce a lot this year.

Thanks Hpantazo.  Remember I also gave up Nazr, who, as of now, is a starter in CHA and should be a good bench type contributor this year.  I think the difference is that MK is going for the title this year and I am going for it in 2013 or 2014.

Solid trade for both teams. I give the edge to MK because I'm not sold on Speights. Randolph will be the top point scorer. And Mohammed should get a lot of run in Charlotte's shallow front court. I do like Stuckey (originally a rookie with the Draft Dodgers) particularly in points league.

P.S. MK, thanks at least for leaving Fields on the wire in H2H. I couldn't stomach watching another hastily cut draft pick of mine thrive on the Flash.

I'll be posting the draft order for the 2011-12 season in the near future.

First, I need to double check the list of traded picks.

I will also be reviewing each team's "games played" tallies, and will factor unused games played into draft position. Teams that have high numbers of leftover games played will have their draft positions adjusted accordingly.

I just crunched the numbers on missed games. The maximum number of games played on the season is 902.

Some observations:

1. There were 6 teams that missed 10% or more of their available games, with one of those teams missing nearly 20%. If these GMs are interested in continuing, am inclined to ask them to name a co-manager before the start of the season, or forfeit their teams (exception: 33-00-32 bada bing, who took over for a dead team midway through the season).

2. On a happier note, 8 teams missed fewer than 10 games total. Gold stars for these GMs.

3. I computed average stats per game for each team, and then added "missed game" stats to each team's total, based on individual averages. This gave me new totals, which I used to create an adjusted order of finish.

I'm open to discussing this, but it seems like an equitable way to level the playing field viz. "tanking."
