Definitly do, I think they do this all the time, if you dont get the story first tweak it a little bit then say you got it

While some guys might do that, I don't think Gammons is one of them.

MLB Network just said the 3rd guy is Bryan Price who is getting lit up in high A, nice.

So Hagadone/Masterson/Price for V-Mart. Great move.

I wouldnt think so either, but there are conflicting reports to say the least

But in this case both reporters were saying the deal wasn't complete yet.

  • Yup
Id now go to the Blue Jays and offer Buchholz/Ellsbury/Doubrant for Halladay/Rios. Itd be nice to finish the deadline with

Out:Hagadone/Masterson/Buch/Ellsbury/Pimantel
In: V-Mart/Halladay/Rios

But i really dont think Halladay gets dealt now.

Ells?  >:(
Yup

How so?  Nightengale just announced it was a done deal like 10 minutes ago.

Im just saying Nightengale said it was a done deal 8 minutes after Gammons said it wasnt and Gammons still hasnt said its done, but regardless, I dont wanna argue about that, we got V-Mart, thats whats important!

Lol well i like him but he'd be a 4th outfielder with Rios here because theres NO way they'd pay Rios 12 million a year to sit on the bench. Rios has been VERY good defensively in CF the last 2 years when he has been there, much less this year than last though.

Seded a bat but they need another pitcher IMO, they have 2 dependable starters and who knows what Wake will do when back.

Well, I think that is very weak evidence to call a hall of fame reporter's credibility into question.  Perhaps Gammons has been on the phone with someone else.  Or his source, hasn't confirmed it to him yet.  That is just a very strong accusation to make based on the very little evidence.

My bad, Im just saying, Sean Mcaddam was talking about it on WEEI earlier this week when there was talk about what we offered to Toronto and other people were saying the yahoo guys story was wrong.  Mcaddam said, "Alot of guys will go against stories purely because they dont get them first."  It was just a thought im sorry if I offended
