Congrats to Rondo and your Toronto team, you've got on heck of a defense. TP to you.

Good luck to both Toronto and Portland in the Finals

I would also like to thank those who supported the Philadelphia 76ers in making it this far.  To those who didn't suppot my team, I can only hope at the next voting venture my players will have proven they have what it takes to make it farther.

TP, Kwhit.  You put together an excellent team, in my opinion.  You must have been doing something right, to get by a fabulous Orlando squad.

Ya, TP Kwhitt, I am extremely proud of the job that the Atlantic did getting 4 teams into the  playoffs and two into the ECF finals.  That being said, it was an awesome series between us and i consider myself lucky to have gotten past you because I think we were so evenly matched.  But I also plan on putting forth a strong effort to bring the title back to the east.

Apparently I already have one gm here who has declared im not going to win but i suggest you wait until I announce my starting lineup before you make up your mind.

And as a Boston Fan I have seen Garnett get the Boston crowd into an absolute frenzy.  If he can create half that result at the games in Toronto, I think Home court becomes a big advanage for me.  And obviously there is no was I can predict the ammount of fans at a game, but I do like home court advantage in the playoffs

saw this yesterday but didn't have time to respond with my girlfriend's surprise birthday party....

rondo --- if homecourt means so much why'd you vote for Philly when they played ORL (since we had home court) in what everyone agreed was an even tighter series than PHI/TOR?  :-[ >:( ;D

Well, I guess this is the series where the "Portland is too old" argument gets thrown out the window.

Michael Finley: 36 years old
Marcus Camby:   35 years old
Z. Ilgauskas:   34 years old
Kevin Garnett:  33 years old
Andre Miller:   33 years old
Ron Artest:     30 years old in November

;)

You have to let go of the "yeah but he voted for the other team even though he thought I would win more regular season game" stuff. The playoffs are about match ups and how your team philosophy would fair against another team and not just about how many game you win in a season. Can't we all get along.  :( ;) :D ;D

Besides, did anyone get more screwed than the Boxers.  >:( :'(

They won the regular season vote only to have votes disregarded that threw them into a tie. Then 4 voters that just days before voted them to win the regular season changed their vote even though they had voted Cleveland as low as a 10th seed by at least one of those changed votes. The criteria wasn't who would win a game or a series or who would have more regular season wins. It changed to who has a better team. The Boxers lost that regular season run off by 1 vote.

I got over it ::)(okay I still have issues, I'm a sore loser, shoot me) but come on.  ;D

Let's all put that past and congratulate Portland and Philly and see where the Finals lead us. It's been a fun and entertaining season. 8)

Just trying to figure out how to put sigs in and testing for size for when I finally make my own. I saw in the sig request that it was originally yours and yes, it was a really nice one, once upon a time.

It's definitely gone quiet in here.  Is it the weekend, because people have lost interest, or both?
