So, any suggestions on how we should vote in the head-to-head?

We have two options:

1.  Simply vote for which team you'd think would have a better regular season record, regardless of the fact that we're now in a tie.  (In that scenario, I would imagine folks would be pretty consistent with their former ballots); or

2.  Treat this like the two teams are tied through 81 games, and are fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to meet in the 82nd game to determine things.  In that case, matchups become a lot more important.

How is everyone looking at this?

Better team overall is how I will look at it.

The real question is, which team is gonna pick up Bucky Dent for this playoff?

Do we need to hold a press conference?

I don't think we have to, but if we want to address our matchup, we can.

I like Golden State's team, and it's a shame they were voted 7th.

That being said, we like our matchup against them.  While their starting lineup is strong, so is ours, and we think we'll really exploit their bench.  Also, Boozer and Nash are weak links on the defensive end.

While we'll start Shaq and Jermaine, Rashard Lewis will be seeing a lot of time at PF in this series.  We think both Manu and Redd will light up Maggette.

When I said no team from the southwest would make it to the 2nd round, I never figured two of them would be facing each other.   :P

The matchup I'm going to have the most trouble with is Seattle/Phoenix (which makes sense, due to their seeding.)

Let's have it, guys.  Why is your team better than the other?

That is to bad.  This early tough matchup could sink the winning team later.

So, GS, why is your team the next Houston Rocket or NY Knicks that makes the finals when on the road in the 1st round?

Roy don't you think the whole Rashard as a power forward only works for the real Magic, because they have the most dominant defensive center on their team? When Lewis will be seeing all that time at PF, who will the Center most often be?

I don't think you need to hold a press conference, but obviously things change in the playoffs. Stars play more minutes and rotations get shortened, so you might want to talk about that.

No, I don't think that.  Rashard saw significant minutes at PF in Seattle (although he was primarily a SF) and played well there, when his centers were the defensively anemic Chris Wilcox and Nick Collison.

We'll play either Shaq or J.O. at center when we play Rashard at PF.  However, as we said, we're starting games with our big lineup of Shaq / J.O. / Rashard.
