The residents of Orlando are running wild in the the streets with anticipation of how the actual draft will unfold for the MAGICS.

I don't get this one, if only because Edgar and I were offering a significantly better deal.  We gladly would have paid a 4th, 6th, and 10th.  In fact, we had offers on the table that were better than that, in my opinion, especially since that 6th rounder is essentially an early 7th.

So would the Bulls. Though we don't currently have a 4th... or a 6th for that matter... or a 10th even :-\

Looking to trade or just to field offers to gauge the value of your picks? Serious question.

Again:  Portland would like to trade up into either the second or third rounds.  For a second rounder, we'll give a #3 + later picks; for the third rounder, we can give a #4+.

Some of the trades being done on the board (i.e., the ones not involving Orlando) are mind-boggling to me, because I guarantee in most cases that there is better value out there.  GMs can do a little better by shopping around.

(Kudos to everyone involved in the Orlando trades, though.  Those were solid.)

The Chicago Bulls, who have been tirelessly trying to move up in the first round are now taking offers to move down in the first round. All reasonable offers receive a TP.

Also the Luvabulls will be holding auditions the week after the draft. Interested babes applicants should PM johnnyrondo with their pics resumes. Thank you.

Not many quality applicants yet. Though this one applicant named "Redz" is a possibilty.

So I was thinking about this last night. What would be the equivalent of the Pau Gasol and 2nd rounder for Crittendon and two late firsts and rights to second round draftee Mark Gasol?

A 1st and a 10th for a 5th, 10th, 11th and 14th?

At least none of our GM's are Chris Wallace bad. Bust seriously how would you rank that trade.

Pau Gasol= 1st
Mark Gasol = 5th
Crittendon= 11th

Also, doesn't that 9th rounder belong to Scribbles?  According to the draft board, it does.  Was that a typo, or an error?

What's the penalty for trading a pick you don't have? I figure that early 9 is important to the Spurs. Maybe it was a typo.

Good Trade for the Spurs dont see where the raptors got anything out of this other than a  6th rd pick and even thats a stretch

We in Toronto understand Sacramento's frustrations.  Ever since this deal was annouced we have been fielding calls from fans all saying, "Why didnt you accept Sacramentos off of a 7th and 9th rounder for the 12th pick in the 3rd round?"  We have taken alot and I repeat alot of heat in the media up here in Canada for passing on that trade.  The media is crucifying us for passing up a chance to, "worsen our team significantly this year and in the future by accepting Sacramento's trade."  But that is ok we in the Toronto office realize that with a position of power there will be those that criticize your moves, even though Sarah Palin cant take the heat, we will not like her resign in the face of adversity.

First of all that was the very first offer I made. I thought maybe you would sell one of your third round picks cheap to get a few later picks. Second of all I'm not going to offer my 4,5,6, picks on the first offer I make that would pretty much leave me with no room to make any offers.

Why offers like that usually gets a good chuckle out of me, it is also a deal killer from the beginning.

Counter offers usually only come when a GM thinks that the deal they want is close.

I agree.  I negotiate for a living, and when somebody starts with a silly offer, it just leads to one side usually becoming angry and entrenched.
