This probably means a push for the number 2 from Minny.

I like the move by Minny. They should really be able to from a nice young team with Jefferson, Love and these 2 picks.

And not a bad trade for Washington either I guess. Miller isn't as good as Ray, but Foye is a nice extra addition.

I Guess Minny's owner was serious about a complete overhaul of that team. I just don't particularly see this draft chock full of stud players. They have just as good a chance of busting with the 5 and 6 IMO.

How is that trade possible? Doesn't Thomas have an ETO option, meaning he can't be traded until after July 1?

Great move for Minnesota Kahn looks like he might in fact know what he's doing. Now does he move the 5th and 6th for the 2nd pick? That's a great deal for the Grizz.
Now they have 4 first round picks, I bet that we could buy our original pick back.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

The trade makes sense for both sides.  Minnesota paid through the nose, but if this nets them Rubio or another elite prospect, it will be worth it.

For the Wizards, they get an excellent young player, a pure shooter who is due for a bounce back year, and cap relief.

Impressive.

Rubio or Harden?
sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

Minny has to go with Rubio now. imagine Love on the boards and with his outlet passing ability. With a running team you can totally go with Big Al at the 5. The coach they hire will be a big decision.

Watch out for the wizards lady's and gents. Foye, Arenas (if healthy), Jamison, and Butler. Those are 4 guys who can score 30 points any given night.

As for the TWolves (btw, are they still the TWolves or just the Wolves now?) it's going to be interesting seeing what they'll do with the 5th and 6th pick. My guess is Curry and Hill?

I'm calling BS on this one, especially considering the source (Yahoo! Sports).

Thomas can't be moved; Washington has to replace him with some other cap fodder to make this happen.

Trade Proposal:

Minny trades the #5 and #6 to Memphis for the #2 and a future first.

Who turns that trade down?

Sports Illustrated is reporting it; I think they're fairly reliable.

Regarding Thomas, he may have already picked up his option for next season, or they may complete the trade after July 1.  The report says they "agreed in principle".
