Watch out for the wizards lady's and gents. Foye, Arenas (if healthy), Jamison, and Butler. Those are 4 guys who can score 30 points any given night.

As for the TWolves (btw, are they still the TWolves or just the Wolves now?) it's going to be interesting seeing what they'll do with the 5th and 6th pick. My guess is Curry and Hill?

I really don't fear the Wiz at all. After all there is only one ball and Agent O is an unrepentant ballhog. Add to this I really don't see them playing team ball. Time will tell but I just don't think they are very scary.

That Wizards team looks like the Nuggets, before the Billups trade though. Too many scorers often ends up as a bad recipe.

Minny should be going after Rubio.

5+6 for the 2?  I wouldn't be surprised.

not reading it anywhere else

ESPN has it too.

good trade for both teams as I think Foye is going to be a well above average player this season and Miller a good player off the bench.
sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

Yeah, the wizards will be nice this year if Arenas comes back strong.  They'll be deep too.  Miller as a reserve is some nice punch off the bench.

From Minny's side, I like your choices of Curry and Hill too.  They'll be wet behind the ears and do a lot more losing this year, but they're on the right track.  They'll be looked at as a team with a LOT of young talent, and they can either develop them, ala Portland, or cash in, like we did.

This and all the other trades today shows that teams are REALLY trying to dump salary and we can find some players to fill this teams holes for the right deal.  Heck the Spurs got a starter/past all-star for filler, all we need is some bench guys, SOMETHING can happen right?

I think they are going to either flip one or both picks for Players to play with AL. Like the 5th and 6th for Amar’e or something like that. Maybe not Amar’e but for someone or something like the six for Blah Smith and pick Tyreke Evans with the 5th.
It is that time, trade will be coming out of the wood work now!

Yes, and is some insurance if Agent Zero isn't fully back to health.  Washington is now pretty deep Arenas-Foye(starting at SG)-Butler-Jamison-Heyward with Miller off the bench...
In any case, both Washington and SAS have helped themselves so far in trades.

minny gives up the only players of any value.

I dont see the point...They arent going to get a guy better than Foye.

Wizards are a legit contender now (if Gil is healthy)

Last time I checked contenders usually play a little bit of defense.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I agree. If the Spurs can get a borderline allstar for a bunch of washed up dudes in their late 30's who barely contributed last year then their must be someone we can get for Scal (expiring), Tony (expiring) and young talent.

I don't think the Wiz are contenders and I think they can definitely get someone better than Foye in the draft. Also, Foye is up for a contract extension. Is he worth big bucks. Is he a solid starting 1?  A solid starting 2?  This saves Minny from making a difficult decision. The 5th pick (or higher if they trade up),will be cost controlled for some years.

I guess I might be the only one who doesnt like this trade for Washington as much.

I dont understand the need to add two more offensive minded players.  The Wizards already have three dynamic offensive players who dominate the ball.  Their problem has ALWAYS been defense.  They just added two more below average defenders on their team (I dont know much about Foye, but Ive heard he isnt the best defender, I know Miller is bad).  I guess salary relief figures into the equation as well.

I think theyll get better, but Im not ready to take them seriously as contenders yet.
