Pierce for 3!!!

Eat it, NBA!

I just got legitimately pumped up watching Pierce's dot go in from the corner on the gamecast at work... this is almost sad, but still awesome.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rondo taking over the game while Pierce and Ray take the credit.

Why he will always be underated as long as they play.

Also I'm sitting here imagining BBD and KG in the locker room watching the game, seeing Powe and Perk do work, a the while punching each other and throwing chairs just being pumped.

K, now that our first 3 options at starting PF are unavaiable, im encouraged despite of the absoulte total garbage(and probabale loss)...TOTAL garbage from these refs

powe is the second option, moore is third.  our 1st, and fourth are unavailable, and due to the flagrant 2, we lost our fifth option at PF, darn.

Ray and Rondo with 4 points combined, and KG out.  Yet, we still have a lead.  I'll take it (even if it should be more).

Kind of misleading, Roy! Wouldn't it make more sense to just say "No points from Ray, KG out, we'll take it?"

Eh...  Rondo having 4 points isn't spectacular.  I don't really think it was misleading.  The point was that three of the four guys we count on to carry us have contributed very little tonight (and even Pierce is below his average).  Yet, we're still winning.  That ain't bad.

Yeah, I'm just giving you a hard time. In general, I find statements like that misleading...like say that Pierce had 10 at the half, and then just saying "Well, Pierce, Ray, and Rondo have only combined for 14 points..." well, yeah, but Pierce has 10, rondo has 4 and ray zero. Why is Pierce part of that group?!  4 points in one half isn't too far off from Rondo's average.

How about Ray and Rondo have combined for 12 second half points?  ;)

Hey, it's a good game!! You (and all posters) should recognize that I use my sarcasm as a form of respect, reserved only for those posters who I know have the intellect and fortitude to participate in such banter.

The bounce was REALLY high to be fair. Powe got up high, but even a good 5-6 feet from the basket he seemed too close.

Still can't close quarters. Even if the lack of closing is lighter than usual.
