Today. It has happened other games too. Leon is not consistently effective. A ton of his value is finishing on dunks and open looks created by penetration.

Paul, Ray, and others were putrid today as well. Perkins tried to keep us in.

Without beating a dead horse, this is exactly the kind of matchup that hurts Leon the most. A quicker, longer, better ball-handler at the PF is not an ideal situation for Powe. Charlie V is but one example of this. This game and the Memphis game cannot really be compared because the Bucks big men are all quicker and more mobile than Leon for the most part, while the Griz bigs were not.

This is the biggest reason that while liking Leon and wanting him to remain a Celtic, I hesitate to say he is ready to start at PF for another team or play 30 mpg every nite. Maybe Doc is on to something with the way he uses Powe and Davis after all?

We just need KG back. Its really that simple. We're losing games to bad teams, and having issues matching up with longer perimeter 4s. KG will fix that quickly, in addition to making everyone have an easier time on both ends of the court.

Powe had a fantastic game against Memphis.  30 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks, zero turnovers wow.  Because of how well powe has been playing, Milwakee gameplanned for Powe, and wouldn't let us make easy passes to the post.  Powe still played great defense in 24 minutes, but got in foul trouble which happens.  If we could have gotten it to the post more often today, we could have used the attention Powe would draw to set up Ray for open shots, or Pierce for some open lanes, or Perk for dunks.  Oh well, next time.
