no, it doesn't at all considering there he was the #1 player (or supposed to be) and was replaced both times by two of the finest PG's in the league, and here he will be a 6th or 7th man off the bench making the vet min, but lets not let facts get in the way of an asine comparision.
The truth is we don't know, hope for a stable marbury who knows that this is his audition to 29 other teams to get james posey + money who plays well, and hope we dont get crazy steph who we have to cut 2 weeks later and regain our giant hole at 6th man.
I dont know what will happen, and he is crazy and not anyone i would want long term, but using stats where he left an ok team as the star and was replaced by kidd and nash respectivly to prove he wont be a decent 6th man for 4 months? I don't see the realevance.
