I'm very happy with my team:
C: Horford (22)
PF: Amare (25)
SF: Gay (21)
SG: Iguodala (24)
PG: Ford (25)
Bench: Martell Webster (21), Steve Blake (28), Udonis Haslem (28)
That is a nice team Roy, I hadn't noticed till now how similar though our teams are (with one less pick on my part):
PG: Delonte West (24)
SG: Allen Iverson (32)
SF: Danny Granger (24)
PF: Tim Duncan (31)
C: Joakim Noah (22)
Bench: Thaddeus Young (19), Brad Miller (31)
We're thinking of starting Noah, to allow Miller and Thad Young to play together so Young can focus more on Offense on the 2nd unit. Plus it will save Miller's legs for the playoffs. Iverson and West will trade Offensive and Defensive PG responsiblities:
Iverson vs. TJ Ford --- Iverson can still stick with Ford; TJ will hope to slow Iverson down on defense
Delonte West vs. Iguodala --- AI2 has a distinct advantage here (2 inches, 25 pounds), but Mr. Wiyah Hangah don't back down from no one. Plus, we've still got 9 rounds to go for me to find an Iggy-stopper, until then we could frustrate him by putting the bigger Thaddeus Young on him for 10-12 mins...
Granger vs. Gay --- 2 young stars on the rise. Their per36 numbers are nearly identical. Webster at the backup is a great fit though.
Duncan vs. Amare --- A battle for the ages, who can foul who out?
Noah vs. Horford --- Horford's clearly the better player, but if anyone knows Horford's moves/tricks/tendencies it's his UF teammate of 3 years J. Noah....
B. Miller/Thaddeus Young vs. Haslem/Webster/Blake -- right we've each got a veteran, hard-working big and a young, dynamic scorer. I think i have the better former, you have the more advanced latter. Blake is a great backup PG (i considered him with the Delonte pick but went with Delonte for D...)
Hope i can meet you in the Finals
