Any Critiques on mine?

PG. Raymond Felton
SG. Rodney Stuckey
SF. Andrei Kirelenko
PF. Shawn Marion
C. Andrey Blatche

Bench: J.R. Smith, Sebastian Telfair, Charlie Villanueva.

I think you need some size up front and a post scorer would be good.

Curry is available.

Yeah Blatche isn't a starter in the NBA...not yet. Maybe someday, but not the same kind of "maybe" that guys like Amir Johnson or Maxiell have.

I like Outlaw but you've gotta wonder if Jeff Green can play the 2, and if Yi is a legit NBA starting prospect. Even with CP3

You needs some vets that can help Paul win some games now.  He almost won the MVP.  I don't know how long he would wait for the raw players that are around him.

Dunleavy does, a bit.

Otherwise, they'll just be trying to score 130 points per night.  Sounds exciting to me!

defense is overrated ;)
kidding
the thing is theres still a lot of defensive player out there but little talent offensively
Size helps
and Boozer and Gasol are both underrated defensive players.

  • The good ole days.
Minnesota Timberwolves

PG:  Jose Calderon
SG:  Ronnie Brewer
SF:  LeBron James
PF:  Amir Johnson
C:   Andris Biedrins

Alright, let's hear the critiques!

I know the "obvious" weakness is Amir Johnson, but I really believe he's going to come into his own this season.  Outside of him, it is 4 solid (and young, young, oh so young) starters that were key pieces of good teams.  This team is LeBron James surrounded by a knock down shooter and playmaker, a gritty defender that is extremely efficient with his limited touches, and young athletic freak that is a sabermetric legend, and a young but experience center that is one of the league's best rebounders and most efficient scorers around the basket.  These 4 were drafted with LeBron James in mind.  And you best believe the first options of the bench will be more shooters and a reliable, established backup power forward to mentor and support Amir Johnson.

No advice?

How are you gonna score that many points a night? Are you going to run the ball with a back court of Jameer Nelson and Mike Dunleavy?

I'm not sure why so many people are down on Dunleavy.  He's actually a pretty good ball handler.  He never reached the potential of being picked #3 overall, but he's a very good player.  Good shooter, rebounder, and passer, not a bad defender.

I think he gets a lot of hate due to the fact that 1) he went to Duke, 2) he was over-hyped, and 3) his appearance (must be the floppy hair).  Otherwise, he's a very solid player.

Jameer make his life feeding Howard
here he can feed some of the better and finest big man scorers in the game
Boozer, Gasol, murphy and yes even curry can score down low
Dunleavy open the court for that, hes a very good shooter
