Man, I'm getting anxious.  If the draft doesn't start soon, I'm going to turn over my entire set of draft picks.  Again.

Houston, AP-- kw10 has been approached about a promotion to a GM this season. However he has also kindly declined the offer, and he was quoted saying, "I never looked to becoming a GM so soon, that was never in my plan, not this year anyway, maybe next year that will be something I'll be looking at."

When asked upon his reasoning to the decision, he simply said, "The season's under way as far as I'm concerned, and I don't want to distract the team or front office by jumping boards. I feel like this year, working under Jsaad, I can learn and gain some experience, also gives a great opportunity to win."
Anything is possible!!!

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
When is the first time we can pick. Does the 1st pick need to wait until 1? I know that people are allowed to pick earlier than their time but does this go for the start of the draft too? (I had to think of a question to make sure my new avatar works)

EVANTIME34 --- your PM mailbox is full.... you might want to clean it out, no telling how many offers you've been getting (i sent you one, and i'm sure LarBird33 has sent you 29 or so)

Lol... I currently have 345 messages in my inbox since this thing started.  Feel free to bug on me on AIM, guys:  LarBrd33 ...

Hey sorry guys I didn't realize my box was full (last year my max was 100, now it's 50). Feel free to send me offers and talk trades.

I am strongly in the camp of unlocking the thread before 1.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Things to remember, the picks are due when the CB clock strikes that number.  At that point, if you haven't made your pick, the next GM can.

Put it this way, if your pick is due at 2:00, and your pick doesn't come in until 2:00:30, if the GM after you gets their pick in at 2:00:25, and it is the same guy, they get him.

I go by the time stamp on the posts.

I've thought about it... and I want to reiterate the suggestion I just made.

Wdleehi... are you going to be around from 1:30-3:55 tomorrow?   I know it's a lot of responsibility, but you picked the times.   It could make this thing run smoother if we allow you to announce every pick and have time to update the draft board as this thing goes... also preventing mass chaos.

As soon as you announce, "with the X pick the Team A takes ____... Team B is now on the clock"... team B can send you a PM with their choice and you'll have 5 minutes to post it, update the board and move on to the next pick...

the other benefit of this is that if someone says "hey heres a trade i just worked out" it gives you time to announce a holdup and prevent someone from saying "Oh he didnt' make his pick... so I'll consider him skipped and take my guy instead".    If you control the flow, you prevent a lot of craziness in the process.

I will be online.  But I will not be checking my mailbox every 30 seconds.

The best way to contact me tomorrow will be in the Chat.  You can IM me any trades.

SUGGESTION --- this is especially true for folks like me with low PM limits, it's helpful when PMing if you QUOTE rather than simply REPLY.  I know for me it's let me see the back and forth better.

That said anyone looking for a low 4th round pick for mulitple picks in the 6/7/8 range?

You mean you didn't hear about Lebron's career-threatening knee injury he suffered in warm ups this morning?

Word out of Portland is that they have one, and possibly two, blockbusters brewing.

If that's the case you can say goodbye to your hopes of grabbing Varejao.
