Gut feel is that 2008 version od Walker and/or Giddens= Posey 1998....give them a chance
I agree it's possible. Giddens' scouting report makes him sound like a Posey clone: athletic, can hit the long ball, plays hard, has long arms. Like Posey, the knock seems to be his ability to take it to the rim off the dribble. That shouldn't be a huge deal because he won't be expected to. Giddens is also a four year (sorta 5) college player; he's older than Rondo, Pruitt, Davis, and O'Bryant, so his learning curve might be smaller.
Walker given his injury and his youth might take a bit longer.
Still, I'd like them to have other options. At the very least they should sign Tony Allen. Though I'd prefer a guy like Barnes or Finley. While Giddens or Walker could be the answer, I'd like to have somebody to fall back on if they're not.
