I was talking about him for a while before the draft but all I heard were the crickets.

Well NBA DraftExpress has Chalmers going in the late 20's, and he hasn't been getting a lot of press/hype either, so who knows, it could happen at #30.
The real question is, does Ainge like him too?

I don't expect a great big man to drop that far, so why not get a shooting PG that can play great defense?
Cassell isn't going to be around forever you know,  I wouldn't be surprised if he retired pretty soon.

I think all the GMs are trying to show how smart they are by not overreaching for a center, and a center with decent potential wiill drop into Danny's outstretched hands.  PGs are in this year, and we don't need more youth there anyway.

I'm with Dick Vitale - Seattle passing up on Kevin Love was idiotic.

What a beautiful fit Love would have been next to Durant. How do you guard that screen and roll? You can't. They'd be such an excellent combination in so many ways.

 Backup for Shaq probably. Doesn't sit right for me, they need someone to backup Grant Hill, or a good backup for Nash? I dunno, but they do need big bodies to spell Shaq, but maybe they are changing their style of play now that D'antoni is gone? =/

I love it.  I think Robin is going to be a better player than her sister, and Phoenix really needs the defense and toughness that she brings.

Says the Pacers and Bayless on the link. That's a fantastic trade for Portland. Not just good, it's fantastic. A scoring point guard next to the best point orientated shooting guard in the league. I love it. Great stuff. Great, great, great. Something that makes sense.

Brandon Rush is a good pick. He'll be a solid player next to Brandon Roy, that would be a nice large backcourt.

Portland are loaded with talent on the wings now - Roy, Rush, Outlaw, Martell, Rudy.

Portland is a loaded team with young upcoming quality players.

But they need to decide who they want to stick with and get them minutes otherwise they won't ever become a good team.
