I don't think it's a good sign when one of the guys I wanted at 30 went at 12.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

You guys think there's any chance that the other Lopez drops to the Celtics?

Also, am I the only Celtic fan who thinks that Mario Chalmers could be a good fit for us at #30?

I don't expect a great big man to drop that far, so why not get a shooting PG that can play great defense?
Cassell isn't going to be around forever you know,  I wouldn't be surprised if he retired pretty soon.

Oh there goes Brandon Rush.

DeAndre Jordan is facing up as one of the steals in the draft. He's great value for any pick from here downwards.

About 2-3 months ago he was one of my big hopes for the Wolves if they had fallen to the 3rd pick or lower... which they did.  But I'm happy with Mayo.

The way this draft is going, he could fall a long way (same with McGee).

Lopez falls to 10?

He's a poor man's Tim Duncan!

How poor a man are we talking?

Ok, Duncan was a reach but this is the draft and we're all trying to hype everyone as much as possible.

I still think Lopez is going to be a really good Center.....they're a dying breed and he seems to have a mean streak to him which is very good for a big man.

Brandon Rush is a good pick. He'll be a solid player next to Brandon Roy, that would be a nice large backcourt.

Portland are loaded with talent on the wings now - Roy, Rush, Outlaw, Martell, Rudy.

Great pick for the Blazers. I'm predicting him to be a top-6 player from this draft in a few years.

Not good, outstanding. Not happening, though.

Another good player for Portland.

I'm trying to follow on Espn.com's Draft Cast, but they never post any of my comments or questions, so I'm just getting ridiculous. My question for OJ Mayo was "So why did you take the money?"  That wan't posted either for some reason. 8)

I like Rush for Portland.  Very good role player type.  He's a great shooter and a plus-defender, which should fit perfectly around Portland's big men.

Won't be for long.  The chances of a big trade are probably about 95%

Spurs should draft Jordan. I'd like to see that. I'd like Timmy to have some help in the paint as he gets old. That would be a very good situation for Jordan to learn.

Another stick thin big man to put alongside Brandon Wright and Biedrins and none of them can defend the post .... oh the joy!

Randolph might be the riskiest pick in the draft. Potential for stardom, could be a bust. Big hit or miss difference there.
