I agree with seccom here. The only way his team has to win games in this series is by outscoring us. It's not the best option when you're facing a very good defensive team in the playoffs (probably, it's the worse one),but I'm starting to believe that's their only hope. They don't have the players or the experience to match our defensive intensity. When they try, they start fouling like crazy. Just try to create mismatches in the offensive side, trade baskets and hope to shoot out the lights.

Personally I'm loving the 'excuse du jour' from Laker fans.

Fact: Celts were 2-0 against the Lakers in the regular season.
Whine: Yeah, but that was without Gasol.

Whine: Yeah, but the game was fixed.

Keep it coming! This stuff is great.

What else would they say? It's the easiest bail-out available, and helps them to sleep at night, after all. Doesn't hurt us in the least, so let them go to it!

I think Boston will be in trouble in the games in LA.  The refs have been consistent throughout the whole playoffs in giving the home team the better end of the calls.  I was just wondering though - why does the NBA switch their refs every game in a series?  Wouldn't it be better to let one crew officiate the whole series ans allow the players to adjust to how the series is being called?  I think changing refs makes it harder for the players to get a feel for what is being called.

This is a misconception. The home team hasn't consistently gotten the calls this post season. At least not in games the Celtics have played. Both for and against the Celtics. I would say it is more likely but definitely not a rule.

They wouldn't have to make all of these excuses,.....if Andrew Bynum were healthy.. ;)....

Not a good day to be a Celts fan in SoCal...  I almost got murdered by 3 different irrate Laker fans on the way through the office this morning.

I have generally held a lot of respect for the Laker faithful because of their dedication to following the team throughout the season, but this is truely classless.

The sense of entitlement is so overblown they can't even recognize when there team has lost a game to a better team.

Lets make a point to take the high road if/when LA finally gets a win at home this week.
