Elton Brand
Dwyane Wade
Carmelo Anthony
Michael Beasley

Not a bad foundation for a team.  Let's hope some of my reclamation projects (Livingston, Morrison) and other rookies (Rudy Fernandez) pan out.

Anybody who has a spare (elite) point guard, I'm open to trade ideas.

Based on feedback so far, it sounds like:

1. This year's draft order will be determined by the simple inverse order of finish. Next year's draft order will be decided upon before the season starts, likely tweaked to involve some sort of lottery for the bottom teams as a disincentive to all-out tanking.

2. People are open to changes in format for next year's league. I'm all for it, provided everyone knows beforehand what they're getting into, and how changes to the league setup will, likely, increase or decrease the value of their players.

3. People are not fully aware that this is a full keeper league. After the final game of the season, anyone and everyone on your roster carries over to next year. There will be offseason moves available (necessary), and we'll need to agree on a calendar/deadlines for those moves: the draft, roster cuts, free agents, trades, etc.

Keep the feedback flowing, guys. It's appreciated.

I'm still on board. Anymore thought given to reformatting the league? I hadn't ever played fantasy basketball prior to last season, and have to say I found Points a pretty unsatisfying scoring system. I'd favor Head to Head or possibly Rotisserie if there's enough interest? Though, I allow that this might be a point of contention among more forwarded-thinking GMs, and if so, I withdraw the request.

Even though it would hurt my team (in terms of our funky scoring system, where Carmelo is a God), I'd be in favor of migrating to a head-to-head.

Something tells me your team will be just fine, regardless...

And since you're already teasing your starting five, I think you know it.

We inherited that 'funky scoring system' from the original setup (I forget who set up the league, but remember he quit at some point during the draft).

We can change things around a bit, but we ought to have everyone weigh in first. Like Roy said, a change will decrease the value of some players and increase others'.

I also wouldnt be opposed to some sort of head to head with playoffs.

Roy, you want a Pg?  I have billups available, for the right price?  Or a lessor option (not elite) would be Felton.

One back at you, just so I can say I made another trade.

Speaking of, it's tough searching this thread to find confirmation of trades made that involved draft picks in this upcoming draft. I know Blake made some; did anyone else?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

There are usually 5 or 6 that come up around September/October.  If you can't make it in to this one, there are always other open ones, usually with the same guys (I'm in 2 CB leagues myself).
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Edgar-  didnt you trade your first round pick already?  I was pretty sure (without going back and looking) that you already parted with your first rounder for this year.

If there's a chance to play, I'd love too. Or I could buy a team with TPs and move it to Canada.
