Again..if the offer was Brown, two very low picks and nothing else...that is a pretty half hearted offer by Brad.

As for Brown. He will get over it. He will sign the extension, make 70 million a year on it and finish his career in Boston.

It will be interesting to see what the Bucks do from here. They'll get to add #10 and #13 to the team but still have Herro and Turner who might be able to return them additional assets. If they could do that before the draft they might be able to begin establishing a young core this year. They will also have a 25 million dollar TPE they could use to take on bad contracts for additional compensation.

Honestly I think being lost in all this was the Celtics were a 56-win team without Tatum for the first 60 games of the year and with D-White shoot 33% from three.

Assuming they can smooth things over with JB they could just sign a player with the MLE an make their pick at #27 and be very good next year with some improvement from the young guys.

I agree in a way. We are still the favorites to come out of the East and I do not think the Knicks are some juggernaut of a team. With that being said I got my hopes up over Giannis as I think that would have made us favorites in the whole league. Still think we have a chance although I am worried about having to ship out Brown in a trade that will make us worse in the short term.

I really do not care about the regular season. They failed the last 2 seasons in the playoffs big time. Their best player last season returned to his poor playoff form. Coaching continues to be abysmal.

Running it back with this roster (which looks more and more likely) means more of the same. Good regular season. Top 3 or 4 seed in the playoffs and then a total collapse in the playoffs.

It would be nice to see guys improve but we are talking about Joe. He can't develop anyone.
