Here's a question based on this page of comments. Is Giannis okay becoming the #2 here? Or if the other way, is Tatum okay becoming the #2? There's multiple reasons it didn't work between Giannis-Lillard, but one of them was neither seemed to be willing to take a back seat or work it out/sacrifice. Giannis would be the #1 in Miami over Bam, no question. On this team, I think he'd have to be willing to accept being the #2, or 1B behind Tatum like Jaylen was all these years.

I think Giannis would be OK with that role. He already won in Milwaukee being the #1. Seems like he just wants to win again. Tatum will make his job so much easier.

I don't think Giannis knows how to play any other way than to be a #1. He will take over the team naturally. His natural aggressiveness. The guy is a 30ppg 10rpg machine.

Feel like he will be Ok sharing the load with Tatum. 1A/1B.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Perkins is right on this one. Clip is cut short, but he thinks Giannis needs to go to Boston. That pairing him with Tatum in Boston is like KG and Pierce all over again. Does not think a Giannis/Bam duo would be good enough to win a championship.

The year the Bucks won, Giannis had 18 fga, Khris had 15.8, Jrue had 13.9 in the regular season. In the playoffs, Giannis had 20.9, Kris had 19.7, and Jrue had 16.9.

During Boston's title season, Tatum had 19 3, Brown had 17.9, and KP had 13.2. In the playoffs Tatim had 19 6, Brown 17.8, and white had 12.7.

Giannis was only 16.6 last year, though the year before he was 19.7.  The 19.3 Tatum had was the lowest he had in a healthy season since his 4th year.

I thibk they will be fine, it will be PP and White that will see a reduction if anyone does.

Now that he?s no longer a member of the Bucks, the soon-to-be Naismith Basketball Hall-of-Famer opened up about what a potential trade may look like for the Celtics if they were to acquire Antetokounmpo.

You?re getting a rejuvenated, healthy Giannis, Rivers said during a recent appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast.

I also think this would be his first time in four years not having having Europe basketball. Giannis and I had a conversation, I want to say a month before the season ended. You remember the who should you come back [conversation]

I was honest. I said Giannis, here?s my opinion. You shouldn?t come back. The season is over. You need to sit, but you should look at this as a great opportunity. You can start working out now. You can bring in your guy that you work with and you can start now for next year. There?s no European basketball. You can get a whole year to work on your skill and he started doing it.

Re-signing with the Bucks remains a possibility. However, if the Celtics were able to pull off a trade, it could make them dangerous in the East. Good luck trying to guard Tatum and Antetkounmpo at the same time, Rivers said.

He?s just so motivated. He wants to win another title, Rivers said. Giannis wants to win. It?s interesting, we were just talking about it. He doesn?t talk a lot about his play, he talks about winning.

The Giannis Antetokounmpo trade saga could drag out past free agency and into July, per

Yeah no thanks. I'm not doing another version of waiting for AJ Brown for extended weeks/months now.
