Shams "Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready for a new home at the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline or in the offseason"

If at the deadline this should/could create alot of player movement and help the Cs jump into a trade for a big. If the Bucks blow it up Portis is a nice fit.

My first thoughts are what package can Portland offer to reunited him with Jrue and Dame? Do the Spurs offer a Harper based trade to pair him with Wemby?

Shams Charania: Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready for a new home at the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline or in the offseason as several rival teams make aggressive offers to the Milwaukee Bucks for him, and the franchise is starting to listen, league sources tell ESPN.

I would think they'd get a better return in the off-season, but who knows?

If I'm Milwaukee, one of my first calls is to Boston to see if they'd deal JB this summer.

LOL at people still wanting to ship out a guy who gives his all for this team, has stepped up this year and does so much for the Boston Community.  JB should not go anywhere.  Even for Giannis.

Hate to see JB go, but that?s a deal you do every day as long as there is reason to believe Gianni?s health won?t be a problem.   Problem I see is that it does nothing for Milwaukee. JB can?t lead the Bucks to a championship and he?s closing in on 30.  I would think the Bucks would want a young star - like Harper.

have to agree that if Milwaukee ships out Giannis they'd be looking for at least one young top prospect (if not 2) and as much draft capital as possible.  Unless Jokic or SGA were on the table, there's no one else that could really be offered that would keep them at their current level so they'd have to be looking at a rebuild.

Only teams I can think of that might have the assets to make that happen are SAS and OKC, possibly Orlando

don't do it -- hold firm at Boucher or Tillman.  Maybe both if they insist  ;)

Preach.  I think he's earned some loyalty by this point.  Fanbase throws him in every half-assed trade proposal for every disgruntled star year after year and then wonders why he feels the need to defend his accomplishments in front of a microphone.

We don't have the young assets or draft capital to be players for Giannis anyway, I'd think.  I like Hugo but he's not the caliber of prospect who could headline a deal for a superstar.  It would require a lot of creativity getting extra teams involved, and I'm not intelligent enough where cap rules are concerned to puzzle out that kind of idea.

Do the Warriors have enough future draft picks to make a run at Giannis? Using Jimmy's contract as a makeweight.
