I think Giannis will stay put.  The packages being talked about just aren't that special.  There's no real incentive to trade now rather than this summer, when all kinds of teams will have cap space, flexibility, and access to their 2033 draft pick.

If he goes somewhere now, I think it will be the Warriors.  They are desperate and have a closing window, and can make pretty much the same offer now as the summer.  But if not Golden State, then I agree the summer is most likely.

The biggest risk of not now, is that Giannis gets a more serious injury. If someone is offering 4 plus first round picks now and if that someone has an aging team that could break down like Nets did, take that trade asap. Yes, they can wait and see where the first round pick positions are but if he does get injured, the trades and offers will be drastically impacted.

If I was the GM, I would let the teams know, make your best and final offer.

He averages between 60-70 games played a year the past 6 years. I dont see that trend improving as he gets older although a healthy Giannis now is a huge boost for any team on brink of competing for a championship.

Milwaukee wants to do Giannis a favor by trading him to a team he desires to join, and the only teams on his list are Minnesota and Miami, per @TheSteinLine 🚨

Golden State is no longer on that list.

Celtics exploring paths to swap Anfernee Simons, potentially draft capital for a big man, per @ByJayKing.

Be that connector that you know you are, Braddy Boy. Naz Reid would look so good in green!

Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Giannis has to be the only player ever with a trade demand to only Minnesota or Miami.  I guess he really likes the Upper Midwest?  Honestly, kudos to Giannis if he goes to Minny after all that has been happening in their community recently.
