Had a nightmare last night. Knicks were firing on all cylinders from 3 and blew us out 119-92. Very happy to have woken up this morning  :P

Well, least the nightmares aren?t about the Cavs anymore.  :D

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

We are just awful at home this season. That's all. We're gonna win next 2, but I am not sure for the Game 5. Just as I was affraid of Game 7 vs Miami at home...

The Knicks have Mitchell Robinson who has been a very big difference-maker for them. Causing chaos in the paint and with OG's elite defense on Tatum and Brown it disrupts them. In the regular season Robinson was missed and that's why the C's were pummeling them. Doubt the C's win two straight esp with Porzingis who is basically a non-factor.

Game 4 is the pivotal one. If NY wins, it's a wrap with them going up 3-1.

If Boston wins? Huge advantage us. Reclaim HCA, best of 3 and have the momentum

The Knicks basically need the Celtics to struggle from three to win. They narrowly won two games where the Celtics shot 25% from three for the game. Could that happen 2 more times in the next 4 games? Sure, but there are a lot more ways for the C's to win games in this series than there are for the Knicks.

The Celtics need to come out with the same intensity in game 4 as they did today. 2-2 vs 3-1 is completely different.

Win Game 4 and the Cs win the series.

Obvious the Knicks need Boston to help them out to win games. Limit live ball turnovers and close our quarters and the Cs win.

Step one of my plan is taken care of.  But my alternative is still very much in play if any of the other steps fail.

Step 1: Save some face and get a solid performance/win
Step 2: Make this a series and come back to Boston wearing your big boy pants again
Step 3: Don't be satisfied with yourself and revert back to the BS of the first 2 home court debacles
Step 4: Finish cleaning up your mess and move on to the next round

orrrrrrrrrrr fail miserably and take your spot as one of the biggest disappointments ever
Yup

They win Game 3, 108-98

Lose Game 4 in a close one, 102-96

Blowout win in Game 5, 116-95

Bow out in Game 6, 106-101

It's kind of like the MIA series in 2023, with Games 3 and 4 results swapped, and this time I think the home team wins Game 6. We could shoot better, but so could NY, it's not like NY has been hot shooting either, they could be due in one of their home games.

I'm a little more optimistic after seeing how Game 3 unfolded. Of course it helps when the 3s are falling, but the overall energy on both ends and hustle were way more noticeable, even more than Games 1 and 2 when they initially built those 20 point leads.

Game 4 feels like it could be similar to the 2022 Bucks series. Down 2-1, on the road. Horford is angry. Now that said, that MIL team was 10x scarier being the defending champs and Giannis being in prime beastmode. But still, tomorrow night could be one of those back-and-forth close contests. Very pivotal game. I agree, whoever wins Game 4 wins the series (Knicks win, they win in 6; Celtics win, they very likely win in 7)

Can we get Scott Foster to extend this thing tomorrow night pretty please
