mazz made us dumber with too many threes. last year we at least adjusted and drove when threes were notr falling. this was a disgrace tonight and mazz needs to be fired. he did nothing. we won with talent last year. players were smart enough to drive on theor own last year. now they are brainwashed by him

I will give JB credit he is usually the one to make an effort to get to the hoop. I know he still toon a lot of 3s but felt he was the only one really trying to get to the hoop in the halfcourt. Now the downside is his court vision is not great.

Tatum on the other hand I am disappointed in. Terrible shot selection and also 5 turnovers too. Sure you can blame Mazzula for that if you want but I just don?t think coaching impacts things that much really. The players have to read the game while out there and I don?t think he did a good job at that.

I don't have a problem with DWhite. It's JB (and Tatum) who I have an issue with where they just chuck 3's after 3's. Especially Tatum when it's crunch time. Tie game, takes big dribbles for a chance to post up his defender but then zips back for a stepback clanking 3. I can't believe what I saw. You know you could've just taken a long 2 instead if you were gonna do that.

That was bad, too. Still gonna put some of the blame on coach on that. But yeah DWhite was 5 of 16 from downtown versus JB who was 1 for 10. What a nasty statline overall

Now it has been 8 minutes where they have done nothing but shoot long jump-shots. At least Jaylen has been looking to attack Towns on the drive. It just hasn't panned out on last 2 possessions.

NY 5-0 run to start Q4. Lead down to 4. Pritchard misses another 3. Celtics now 12-45 from three. Timeout Mazzula. Tatum bricks a contested 3 off the dribble early in the shot clock out of the timeout. I doubt that is what Mazzula wanted. OG hits a 3. 1 point game. Kornet moving screen.

Now it is 9 minutes since they took a shot within 20 feet. Only one of those was a 2. All others were 3s. Jaylen hard drive baseline, gets fouled on a lay in. Finally. First shot since around the 6min mark in Q3 that Boston took a shot going to the basket. 8:14 in Q4.

D White follows that up with a missed corner 3. Tie game. Tatum hard drive middle against the shot clock, misses finger roll going to the rim. Good attempt.

So from the 6min mark in Q3 to the 7min mark in Q4 Boston lost a 20pt lead. Up 20 to tie game. New ball game.

We won't win from here on out shooting 25% from 3pt land. We should have diversified our offense more, but the overall shot making needs to be better. I don't feel like they "forced" 60 3s. Some? Sure. Alot of their 3pt attempts over the course of the game came with good decision making. We just were cold during those shots.

Woke up even more angry at the stupidity of this team.

Last night was self inflicted. They got up 20 by getting to the line. Getting the Knicks in foul trouble and moving the ball. And they played really good defense/rebounded to start the 3rd.

Then immediately they started bricking 3s and got outworked on both ends.

We will see what they have tomorrow but it will not surprise me if they go down 0-2. The 3 has not been falling at all this playoffs. Vs Orlando they adjusted and took what they gave them.

Last night orgy fest from 3 was pure stupidity even when they knew they were not falling.
