Literally handed the game to the Knicks. Just gave it to them.

This is going to be a LONG, brutal 48 hours ahead (and probably week really...)

No grit and no balls tonight. Just gave NY a lot of confidence. This will end up being a long series because Tatum can get into his own head and they don?t have a coach good enough to make adjustments.

Yep. Last time they lost game 1 in a series at home the ended up being down 0-3.

Game 2 is a must win and I do not feel confident about it at all.

Celtics in 3!  Complete homers.
Knicks in 5 sadly

God, you're insufferable. Only show up when things go bad to spout your extreme pessimism.

We had a historically awful game - yet we're still more likely to win in 5 than the Knicks in 5.

Yeah the Celtics aren?t winning a title this year. Doubt they win more than 2 games in this series. Oh well. Congrats on a title a pretty good season this year

This team needs to look at itself in the mirror....That jacking 3s stuff not only are you not going to win a game like that. it's boring and embarrassing to watch. DUMB basketball. they were like oh we can shoot 3s...cause their not running us off the 3 point like the magic, lets shoot 88 3s. Lol...what a nightmare

That's what makes this even more infuriating - we literally just showed last series that we can win despite not shooting a ton of threes. That should've been a major plus for us and highlighted how dynamic our offense is.

But nope. The very next game we break the record for most missed threes in a playoff game, with most of them - particularly in the second half - awful looks.

  • GOT IT!!!
Not once did I feel like they chucked in last years playoffs. The old nemesis reveals himself once again already though. That was lazy entitled basketball. They already know they can't win playing that way. It cannot happen again, if it does that's a red flag for repeating. These teams they are playing are too good. Try that against OKC and see yourself get blown out by 30.

Tatum and Brown went a combined 14-43 from the field.   :blank:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Brown was horrendous on both ends. He looks cooked.

Tatum looked more interested in other things tonight.

If it makes you feel any better, we will blow them away Wednesday night. Just make it another 45 hours.

Good. Every single person on that team deserves it.

Maybe it'll actually put a little hair on their chest and force them to man up and actually play smart, hard basketball.
