Game 2 pretty much the season. Lose that and this might be done quick. Win it and I think the Cs win in 6.

I had Celtics in 7 and that was them winning game 1.

Knicks in 5/6

I said Boston in 5. Best case now is Boston in 6. Lose game 2 and it will be the Knicks in 5 or 6.

Can't give games like this away at home in the playoffs. Zero accountability by anyone in that lockerroom tonight including the coach.

The silver lining is we shot 35%overall, 25% from 3, defended like we were on Novocain and only lost by 3. So if we improve by even 20% we should be in better shape

It's a small thing in the grand scheme, but Hauser today came in for 4 minutes, missed 2 threes and didn't offer any resistance on the other end which helped enable NY to go on a run late in the 3rd. I know he got hurt and hope he's okay, but this dude is just borderline unplayable out there especially if he can't knock down some 3s. There's no reason Joe can't at least try someone else like Craig for a few minutes and see what he can do
For most of the year Hauser has been unplayable but Joe doesnt care. The last 2 months Scheierman completely outplayed him in all phases but cant get any minutes in the playoffs. I get it hes a rookie but theres only 1 way to find out if the kids got guts and thats to give him a shot.

And i dont understand not using Craig at all. During the regular season he seemed like a great fit as a small 4 who can guard a lot of positions and hit open shots
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

One thing is for certain...we should never see Hauser in a Cs uniform again. Guy is unplayable.

I think you have some prime candidates to move next year....Hauser, KP, and yes Brown.

They go down 2-0, they are in serious trouble. Doesn't matter what the talent is.

But I do think it's a bit crazy to completely change and pick the Knicks after this game. I had C's in 5, now I think 6. I'd still be surprised if NY won this series.

I agree. But tonight's loss felt different. It felt more like 2023 vs Miami. And the Knicks believe now.
Cs in 6 seems most logical now but I will have to wait and see what happens Wednesday.

I predicted C's in 6 and predicted they'd lose Game 1.

Now, I didn't say which other game they will lose in this series but I will add that if they lose Game 2, the series is in all likelihood over; or we are reverse-sweeping the next four aka 2017 Celtics-Bulls style.

That said, Game 2 is a must-win for Boston. And no, I think too much rest for Boston has made them forget to play fundamental basketball...so I think the less rest they get the more engaged they could be, hopefully.

KAT did not have his breakout game yet, so expect the Knicks to get him running.

And if Porzingis is out with 'illness', does not sound good.

he came in and missed two 3s, he didn't get to play till the 3rd. he's hasn't been great in the playoffs but he should be good in this series....

Tatum started the game with 13 points on 4-5 shooting in the first quarter.

The next 3 quarters + OT? 10 points on 3-18 shooting. Putrid
