More DeAndre Jordan. Interesting 2nd unit lineup though.

G: J Pickett
G: J Strawther
F: MPJ
F: A Gordon
C: D Jordan

Unfortunately, A Gordon is trying to force things to start Q4. Hero ball sabotaging his own team. Not playing together as a unit.

Then again, maybe something like that should be expecting. No playmaking from the center position. Minimal ball-handling and passing from the backcourt. Arguably A Gordon is their best ball-handler and passer in this lineup. So maybe one-on-one basketball is what we should expect.

-------------------------------

Okay, they didn't stick with that for long. 2mins in and DEN brings their starting lineup back in.

Another bad play by Jokic against Zubac. Air ball.

That is a cool fact. Harden had 20 first half points. He has been scoreless in the 2nd half. Despite that, Denver has not been able to make a dent in LAC's 20pt halftime lead.

Memphis had their last bucket around the 5min mark.

Whiteout.

Hate seeing an injury so clearly and dramatically affect a game.

It was a bar fight in Memphis. OKC with a commanding 3-0 lead.

Jeff Van Gundy has been a huge addition for the Clippers. He has transformed their defense.

That game would scare me if I were the Nuggets. It wasn't just hot shooting from LAC. It was terrible defense leading to high quality scoring opportunities which LAC took advantage of.

The no-show of MPJ after his injury scare in Gm 2 is a major concern moving forward. The lack of any quality off their bench another major problem. Braun continuing to find playoff basketball tougher than regular season. Less easy hoops from cutting. More emphasis on his dodgy jump shot.

The sheer lack of effort defensively was a disgrace. Jokic was a big part of that too. He played like a worthless dog on D from the Q2 onwards.

Great team wide performance from the Clippers.

Harden, Kawhi, Norm Powell, Zubac all had big games. K Dunn was an awesome defensive glue guy. Batum and Derrick Jones Jr gave the team a lift off the bench. Ben Simmons gave them some good minutes. Bogdanovic even gave them a few good minutes.

A united performance.

Wow, Nuggets just got slaughtered by the Clippers.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Ja with a bad fall in transition.  Stayed in to take the free throws but he's worse for the wear and heading to the locker room.

He's gotta learn how to protect himself better.  I don't know if he was deliberately trying to jump over Dort or if he didn't even think that far ahead but this isn't the first time he's been shaken up because he tries to jump out of the gym and crashes.

   It was a dirty play.

Yeah that's on Dort. Guy is a sneaky dirty player to begin with, he can be reckless

Edit: Looking at the replay again, I'll admit maybe it wasn't "intentional" but he's been involved in a lot of reckless plays in recent years on his opponents

Even if it wasn?t intentional, that was still a dangerous play. And he didn?t even try to catch Ja?s fall. I felt he should have been thrown out of the game.

Jimmy Butler diagnosed with deep glute muscle contusion and his game-time status is in jeopardy for Game 3.

Guess that's a wrap for GSW

Guess the problem wasn't the coach.

As to LAC, they have two hall of fame players on the team, Harden and Leonard, both healthy and playing well.  Zubac seems to have found his game and is playing like a solid big.  LAC will be fine as long as Harden and Leonard hold up, what, maybe 20 more games?

The NBA is just allowing free shots at the star players in this years playoffs. Tatum, Butler, Morant so far... Lucky KP got hit in his least vulnerable, his head. All hit in midair...
