Best part of waking up is not Folgers in your cup it?s seeing Lakers have lost!!!!

So happy to see this. I avoided looking when I woke up in the middle of the night and it was your post that gave me the news just now.
Definitely softens the blow of last night?s Celtics loss. Go Wolves!!

Every series is 2-1 but OKC and Cleveland.

Let's see if Miami can steal one at home. Doubtful.

40+ minutes for LeBron, Luka and Reaves.  Sunday is an early game so that's a quick turnaround.
Yeah, I was looking at that too.

Luka had a bad stomach bug last night. Unlikely that will have cleared by early tomorrow. He will likely still be struggling physically for that game.

Dangerous game for LAL.

They could find themselves down 3-1.

Must've ate a lot of food in Minnesota for his appetite.

Continue hacking Luka's abdomen and then shut down Reaves and make LeBron beat them.

Sure, Luka was sick, but it's nice to see MIN actually forcing him to work on defense as well. Even in Game 1 when Luka had 37, they just attacked him on defense and Luka was mostly a non-factor late in that game, and MIN kept scoring on him.

Lebron was phenomenal last night and they still lost. One thing that's notable is, MIN is just more athletic and running around LAL a lot. Lebron's 40 and Luka isn't in great shape either so it has its effects. And they don't have a legit center so Lebron has to exert himself extra as PF/C

If LAL loses tomorrow, they lose the series. I think the Game 4 winner wins the series.

Yeah unfortunately the Cavs got a bye round essentially. Miami offering zero resistance.

And again, what a sad excuse of a "homecourt". Down 30 while having a half-empty arena most of the game anyways. Great Heat Culture!

OKC and CLE look like they will sweep their first rounds

Might be meaningful. Might not. The second round will give both teams much more of a challenge.  But this is as it should be. The top seed should get the easier 1st round.

17 foul calls for OKC. 28 for Memphis. Ridiculous.

Russell Westbrook is out for Gm 4.

I haven't seen anything on MPJ. Edit: He's playing.

Strange lineup to close Q1

G: Pickett
G: Braun
F: Cancar
F: A Gordon
C: Jokic

Jokic and Cancar were bringing the ball up. Cancar lost it. Layup for LAC. Why is Pickett not bringing the ball up? Clippers are not even playing a PG in their lineup. Nobody who can pressure him. Why make Cancar do it? Then Braun brings it up next possession. Still not Pickett.

Cancar and A Gordon is a strange forward pairing. Both PFs. Kawhi is not even on the floor so it is not to matchup with size at forward.

This is an offensively deficient lineup. Limited forwards. Limited perimeter play from Braun. Pickett not even leading the offense. Looks more of an undersized SG than a PG. Other than Jokic, this looks to be a dreadful lineup.

Clippers lineup

G: Harden
G: Bogdanovic
F: Derrick Jones Jr
F: Batum
C: Ben Simmons

Not a single big physical forward on the floor. Why do Denver need 2 PFs? Not a single defensive guard - why is Pickett not bringing the ball up?

Now a completely different 2nd unit lineup for start of Q2

G: J Murray
G: Pickett
F: P Watson
F: MPJ
C: D Jordan

I like that they brought back J Murray and MPJ to play while Jokic rests. They need that offensive firepower. They have also gone smaller. MPJ sliding over to PF. A quicker more dynamic Peyton Watson at SF. Pickett slides over to SG. DeAndre Jordan to matchup with Zubac. Nevermind, Clippers did not play Zubac to start Q2 as they did in last 2 games.

They have died with these DeAndre Jordan minutes in the last 2 games. This is a pretty good lineup to put alongside him. We'll see.

No reason to play D Jordan if Zubac is not there. D Jordan shouldn't be on the floor. Too much of a liability. Ben Simmons has the advantage here.

Oh interesting, Clippers left Kawhi out there instead of Zubac. So Kawhi will attack Peyton Watson (too weak physically) or MPJ (slow footed defender). Smart move by Lue.

Clippers lineup has no ball-handling guards

G: Bogdanovic
F: Derrick Jones Jr
F: Batum
F: Kawhi
C: Ben Simmons

Nuggets lost their 5pt lead in first 3:30 of Q2 with this DeAndre Jordan lineup.

Derrick Jones Jr defending J Murray and doing a great job. That is a good defensive matchup for LAC. Tough for Murray. Jones Jr has the speed to keep up with him while having superior size / length than most players Murray sees.

A Gordon back in for Pickett. Bigger lineup for DEN. Better defensively. They now have someone to defend Kawhi.

Starting lineup back in for DEN around 7:30 mark. I imagine they will play the rest of the half together.
