I don't like this lineup for NY. It is tiny.

A small two PG backcourt with Cam Payne & McBride. Then they have an average sized SG playing SF in Hart. Then a wing player in Mikal Bridges playing PF. Mitchell Robinson is the only guy with legit size.

They have no rebounding outside of Hart 1-4. They are undersized defensively at all 4 positions.

They bring Towns (M Robinson) and Anunoby (Hart) back quickly. Good moves to get away from that dodgy lineup above.

Imagine relying on Cam Payne to run your team for the remainder of a key playoff game?

He has been a 3rd string PG for a few years now.

Knicks are not like Boston. They do not have playmaking wings or a 2nd playmaking guard. They are reliant on their PG. They run a PG-centric offense. The responsibility on Cam Payne here is huge.

Brunson doing a great job on offense.

His movement looks gingerly on defense. Particularly off ball. Crossing his legs funny. Not good positioning. They should try attacking his D. See if he can do better on-ball or not.

Then maybe switch from on-ball attacks to off-ball movement and see how well he can switch from lateral movement to chasing a guy running around the court. That looks like it might be more of a problem area. Switching between different types of movements.

This series has had a lot of close finishes. Big test for Detroit, have they learned from the last 3 games

Beautiful move by Schroder against Brunson to get that midrange jumper. Brunson was moving like normal on D.

WHAT!!!?

Sniper 3 from the wing. Heavily contested fallaway on the baseline. Then a pump fake, step back 3 off the dribble from 27-30 feet. All net. Wow!!

8 straight for Towns to put NY up 1 from being down 4.
