Reggie Miller right in all that criticism about the jump ball. Never should have been a jump ball in the first place. The ball was loose. Then controlled by DET. Then on the jump, the players were lined up so badly by the refs before the toss. Then Duren has a brain fart. And his teammates who were in the two did a lousy job of covering the gap as well to recover the ball.

Failure after failure after failure after failure.

That is not a good call. what is Reggie smoking!!?

You are allowed pivot when you are in possession of the ball. It is only a foul if Towns releases the ball in a pass because then it becomes a moving screen.

Awful call.

Man Cade made the play, he just lost the ball. Very unfortunate.

Also very bad defense on those Brunson drives. Easy for him

Man, really wanted DET to get this game, but they looked pretty bad down the stretch. Brunson getting straight line drives to the basket and Cade losing the ball on multiple occasions.

I get it, DET would also be a difficult match up for us, but we are just so much more talented. NYK actually have talent, but have yet to live up to their potential against us so far. If Tatum and Brown still aren't 100%, they could be a problem.

Agreed. That is my worry (question) with Tatum's situation right now. Orlando we can defeat without Tatum. It is not a given they can beat NY without Tatum. Then if Tatum is here, how good does he have to be to beat NY? 60%? 70%? 80%? 80% should be enough. But if it is lower than that, if his shot is well off, that series could be wide open.

Mitchell Robinson moves like an old man on defense. It looks more like a lack of work on agility training + footwork than it is a lack of raw athletic ability.

He moves like a guy that is 35-38 years old. It is ridiculous.

How did Pistons get this close?   Shouldn?t have switched to the draft.

Yeah, I thought it was over over and then I see a highlight on reddit with the buzzer going off on Brunson's purposely missed FT with the Knicks up 2. What a great surprise it would have been to see a Pistons win

Memphis has a bunch of good 3pt shooters with Bane, Pippen Jr, Jackson Jr, Aldama, Kennard. They need to shoot more 3?s, and play zone defense.

Yep!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Ajay Mitchell is not a guy I expected to see in a playoff game. Where is Jaylin Williams? Or Kenrich Williams?

I was impressed with Ajay earlier in the season. Nice versatile forward. Plays bigger than his size. Did well for OKC when they were down multiple bigs earlier in the season.

OKC gave up 40pts in the first Q to Memphis.

Memphis up 28. OKC may win anyway. But not staying up for it.

This type of energy might be what to expect in Orlando tomorrow.
