Did AD just injure himself?

Non-contact injury.

That is not going to help his "glass-man" criticism.

Naji Marshall has hit some huge 3s in the 2nd half.

Dallas tied a team record for 17 blocks in a single game.

Gafford - 6 blocks
AD - 3 blocks
PJ Washington - 3 blocks
Naji Marshall - 1 block

Even the guards were getting into it

Kyrie - 2 blocks
Klay - 1 block
Max Christie - 1 block

Any comments about Ime and his crew losing their 6th straight today?  Maybe not the smartest coach out there.

Listening to Byron Scott's reaction to the Luka-AD trade. The guy with him made a great point. He said the biggest winner of this trade is not Dallas or the LA Lakers but OKC.

Dallas have had OKC's number this season. They are the only team to beat them multiple times. They have beaten them 3 times. They beat them in the playoffs last year.

But now Dallas have taken a wrecking ball to that and traded away Luka Doncic. The one team that looks like they could've given OKC a tough time in the West has been removed from their path.

Lakers have that weapon with Luka and LeBron and I do think LeBron can put 30-40 PPG in a series with them. Dallas also has front court defense with a healthy AD and Gafford and newly acquired Max Christie.

Pre-trade I thought the Lakers can beat OKC in a 7 game series. I still think they're capable now that they have Luka.

Holy moly AD is beasting out there. A men against gods. 18/11/4 with 2 blocks and still 5 minutes until halftime. And he's just dominating Sengun and the others

If only Lebron and JJ listened to him and made him play at the 4 spot. Too bad he got injured though.

Hate to say it but LAL has been firing on all cylinders.

OKC and Denver to me are the only ones who can beat them in a playoff series out West barring major injuries.

Portland has won 9 of their last 10, are 2.5 games back of a play-in spot and are now up 7 on the Timberwolves. Good for them  :)

Zion has 40pts in 27 mins.16-21 from the field, 8-11 from the line.

l

They just lost their own only center that is above 210 cause their trade was rescinded

I totally forgot the cap implications of the trade being rescinded.

Austin Reaves had a huge game against Indiana.

45pts on 14-16 FGA 4-9 3PTA 13-13 FTA 7ast 7reb 3stl.

Tim Kempf was saying that A Reaves has been a 20ppg 50-40-90 guy for several weeks now. Not quite that good when I check his numbers. Looks like Reaves had an uptick in performances starting in December. So about 2 months worth of games. 26 games. His stats for these 26 games are:

20.9ppg
7.1apg vs only 2.7 turnovers per game
4.9rpg + 1.3 steals per game

45.4% FG% on 14.6 FGA
37.1% 3PT% on 6.8 threes per game
89.9% FT% on 5.7 FTA
61.1% TS%

That is a lot of FTAs for Austin Reaves. I did not expect to see him getting to the foul line that often. That is great offensive production.

Tim Kempf made a 2nd point saying he thought the LA Lakers now had the best shot-creation of any team in the NBA now that they have Luka, LeBron and A Reaves. That is a strong argument. Those 3 guys can create with large volume both for themselves and for their teammates (playmaking).

This comment was in his reaction video the Mark Williams addition. He thought that gave LAL an unguardable offense with Williams as a role man threat alongside those 3 creators. I think he is overvaluing LAL's three point shooters. I think they need some better spot-up shooting around LA's stars. And that was before they voided the Mark williams trade. Kempf also believed LAL had better defenders on their roster than they are given credit for. I don't know about that.
