This Sixers team is so broken. Wouldn't be surprised to see them clean house this summer. Embiid looks awful out there.

He's moving around out there like post-Celtics Kendrick Perkins

Wemby should be dominating this game vs. Charlotte but it's a close game and a big reason is because he has 16/9 (pretty good) BUT is shooting 1-9 from 3. Not really attacking either.

That was a fun game. Fox didn?t get his shot off fast enough at the end and the Spurs  lost.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yeah that was a bummer.

Like I've said, I would NOT want to play the Spurs in the play-in/playoffs. Even though Wemby and a few others are inexperienced, others like CP3/Fox/Barnes, etc. have experience and the Wemby-Fox duo looks legit.

We talk about the Celtics having a 500M payroll next year (250M roster + 250M luxury tax), but Phoenix is likely going to pay 420M (220M roster, 200M luxury tax) for a team that's likely finishing .500 or worse. They are a very frustrating team to watch, which is weird when they have Durant but it seems Durant has lowkey checked out amidst the trade rumors and there may be more locker room tension because of it.

This season, SGA is averaging 32.4 points for an OKC squad poised to contend for its first NBA title. This feat has made "The Truth" a believer in the shifty scorer.

"He's starting to show me he can go for more than 30," Pierce said on "KG Certifed." "He's pressed another button where, last year, I didn't know if he could get there, but this year, he's elevating to a level where he can really go off."

Quote
"Last year, he was getting 30, yeah, but I'm saying I wanted to see those games where he'd be like, 'Oh, hold on, this is different.' It was easy for him to get 30. But when you're averaging 30, you're supposed to have some games where you explode," Pierce shared.

Quote
He said that watching SGA reminds him of someone nearly unstoppable during his heyday in the league: Allen Iverson.

"The thing about Iverson is you knew he'd get 30, but you had to stop him from having those games where he'd go for 40 or 50, you know what I'm saying?" Pierce quipped. "He hadn't gotten to that level yet, but now he's getting there."

SGA has had 3 50+pts games in his last 10 games.

Plus a 40pter.

AD is cooking!

A couple of strong post ups against Amen Thompson and Tari Eason. A drive and follow up dunk over Sengun. Beasting in the paint to start the game.

Started the game with a lot of physicality.

Then AD hits a 3 after a timeout. Frisky AD today. Then a 20 foot pull up jumper. He has slid over to center now with Gafford taking a breather. Halfway mark in Q1.

11pts 7reb 3ast 2blk and we still have 3:30 to play in Q1.

Another bucket. Spin move and jump hook shot in the paint. Mavs up 14pts, 31-17.

Dallas got some good run out of this three man perimeter combination

G: Kyrie
G: Exum
F: Max Christie

They came in around halfway in Q1. They played initially alongside PJ Washington and Anthony Davis. Then finished alongside Naji Marshall (PF) and Dan Gafford.

Max Christie has looked good. He has grown so much this season. Full of confidence. Looking to attack of the dribble. Hard drive to the basket in transition. Transition 3s spotting up.

Exum doing the little things as usual. Glue guy. Connectivity player. Gives Kyrie more freedom.

Looks like Dallas has some good chemistry between these guys. Good options at PF and C as well.

Lot of speed with that group. A completely different look to their starting lineup with the twin towers alignment and Klay Thompson at SG. PJ Washington at SF. Big physical defensive unit. Then a fast up and down lineup for the 2nd part of Q1. Able to play different tempos whenever they desire. Reminds me of the Kobe-Pau Lakers when A Bynum would go to the bench and L Odom would come in.

Houston are now 8 for 32 on shot attempts.

Dallas' defense is stifling. Not just AD. It has been awesome with AD on the bench. This 2nd unit has been fantastic defensively. Max Christie, PJ Washington, Gafford and Exum.

Christie is a very underrated piece that Dallas got. Only 21 years old too

Holy moly AD is beasting out there. A men against gods. 18/11/4 with 2 blocks and still 5 minutes until halftime. And he's just dominating Sengun and the others

They should put Amen Thompson in the dunk.

My goodness can that guy jump.

Houston have done well to hang in there.

This twin tower Sengun & S Adams configuration has worked well for them against Dallas' twin towers.

Now let's see if AD & Kyrie can lead once the game tightens up.
