Just saw the NBA schedule, just 1 game today. NBA really dodging the AFC/NFC championship games.

We were talking on the previous page about Chicago having a good season and currently on pace for a play-in spot.

But ... apparently, the Bulls 2025 1st round pick is top 10 protected so they only get it if they finish in the bottom 10 teams. They do not want a play-in spot.

So they are going to try and dump some of their good players before the trade deadline in order to tank and keep that 1st round pick. They have been trying to trade Vucevic, LaVine and Lonzo Ball.

Sounds like their desire to keep the pick will derail their season. That does create an opening in the play-in spots with Philly the only team in proximity that looks able to take advantage.

Danny does love his small guards!

Two-time All-Star Isaiah Thomas is pursuing another NBA return, signing into the G League and rejoining the Utah Jazz's Salt Lake City affiliate, sources told ESPN.

Thomas, 35, is expected to debut for the Stars this week, sources

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

You have to hand it to IT for not giving up.  Then again, if Danny trades all of Utah?s guards then maybe IT can have one more try with the Jazz as they tank?

Jimmy Butler suspended yet again. What a jerk. He plays halfheartedly when given the chance and then storms out of shoot around when informed that he was gonna come off the bench? He thinks he?s bigger than Miami?

With the Knicks winning and Celtics losing, the Knicks are now 1 game behind the #2 seed.

Time to kiss goodbye to the 2-seed. Not that it matters, Celtics play like crap at home anyways.

Looking at the 6th seed, Boston may have to face Orlando in the first-round. Hahah, possibly one and done?

During the Hawks/Wolves game, a piece of jumbotron fell off and nearly landed on Mouhamed Gueye's head. That woulda been real bad.

Rudy Gobert was startled by it, but Gueye didn't notice since it just landed right behind him.

Doubtful. This team could use a long offseason though.

My bigger concern with the 3 seed is not having HCA against New York

Not an easy place to play

Truth be told though, regardless of seedings or the whole "40/20" rule, this team hasn't inspired much confidence anyways. I'll hope for the best but it feels like we're just gonna get into the postseason and pray. Also pray we can enter it healthy

Idk if the concern should be "not having HCA against New York" or having to go up against Paolo Banchero and the Wagner Brothers in the first-round. That 3 v 6 matchup doesn't look too favorable for the 3-seed C's if they draw Orlando.

And when they were healthy, with Porzingis, they still lost games because lack of chemistry? Make it make sense.

I just saw a report from Shams Charania that the Kings have opened talks to deal De'Aaron Fox, as Fox plans to sign somewhere else next off-season in 2026.

Wow. That is a big time player on the trade market.

I wonder who they could get for him.

1st Idea

I like the idea of a Devin Booker for D Fox swap. PHX gets to rebalance their lineup. A top notch PG. Beal at SG. A defender at SF. Durant. A center. Sacramento gets an All-Star caliber player in his prime.

2nd Idea

If I am Philly, I would be hopefully dangling Tyrese Maxey in the hopes that is the best offer on the table. A young star PG to replace D Fox.

3rd Idea

How about Houston? Van Vleet & Jabari Smith Jr for D Fox? Maybe a young prospect like Cam Whitmore as well. Sacramento finally gets a defensive PF to play alongside D Sabonis. J Smith Jr is young with potential. A 15ppg two way PF that could grow into a 17-20ppg scorer.

4th Idea

San Antonio should offer up anything it takes outside of Wemby. Those two would be a dynamic duo. Stephon Castle and picks. Maybe Vassell as well. A new starting backcourt for Sacramento.

It doesn't offer SAC a replacement star but it could be a good rebuilding trade.

5th Idea

I wonder if there is any way Minnesota could get in on this. The deal would be around Randle. Maybe Randle, Naz Reid and Rob Dillingham. It does not offer Sacramento a top flight star or a top flight prospect. So not as good as some of the others. It does offer them a legit PF to play alongside Sabonis and a high quality backup big to play behind Sabonis giving them a strong big man rotation. Rob Dillingham looks a good long term prospect.

I'd love to see Ant get some real help. I hate seeing him have to do so much of the ball-handling and play-making. That is not his strength. Let him score.

I think Houston or San Antonio would be awesome landing spots for him. Pretty sure Fox is also from the Houston area. I think Houston though has a good thing going and they'll probably play out the season, see how the playoffs go and evaluate their own guys, and then hope a big fish like Giannis comes available so they can pounce with their other young players and future assets.

Bronny James played like 5 minutes in the 1st quarter against the Sixers and got absolutely cooked by them lol, especially Maxey which was probably expected.

Yabusele had a nice half as a starter but left the game injured (although back on the bench now).
